Sentinel-Jordal
Ok I guess this is a stupid question but what gear are jedi sentinel supposed to use in 3.0? There is no foestooper/weaponmaster gear at the vendor are sentinels supposed to use pummeler or bulwark gear in 3.0 or is it a bug that the foestooper/weaponmaster gear is missing? DataBeaver
Given how all endgame armors seem to be adaptive now, I'd say yes, sentinels are supposed to use the pummeler set.
Sentinel-Jordal
Uhm thank you Anyone who know why they removed foestooper/weaponmaster gear?
DataBeaver
Probably to remove redundant choices. The only real difference between the three DPS sets was that two of them were medium and one was heavy. Now it's very straightforward: if you're a Jedi knight playing a DPS role, you get pummeler's armor. All other classes also get only one set per role. They also had different mods in them from the get go. None of them were optimized very well, so you still had to drop resources (comms/credits/etc.) into proper mods though. DimmuJanKaarl
The question I have is: where should we be min/maxing? Previously on my sent I stacked no crit whatsoever. I realize accuracy is the big thing, now, so should I still target >100% accuracy on melee, or does DR just really bear down early on and i shouldn't bother with an acc over, say, 99%? do i still then go power all the way? I also read that ppl aren't bothering with main stat augs either now, and are mixing up acc, pwr, and/or surge to get the targets. I guess the question is: what are the new target stat values and how are people stacking to get there? My understanding is also, previously Watchman was the de facto engame spec for sents because of the DOTs and their auto-critting for maximized sustained dps which has most utility against ops bosses. But with acc being so low now and i'm guessing DR is making it hard to get to or exceed 100%, DOTs took a serious nerf right since they aren't causing damage every tick. I'm so confused lol it was so much simpler before: get acc to >100% on melee and force, get surge to have a healthy crit mult of something over 70% or w/e it was, then stack power all the way after all main stat augs. I'm lost now :/
