TiberiumStarkill
Hi All - Returning player from launch and trying to get my head wrapped around things again especially with 3.0 flipping the script! I'm wondering what you guys are using for your ability rotations/openers etc. I've been leaning toward saber throw, force leap, plasma brand, master strike, overhead slash, blade storm.... then I kind of get lost am wondering where to go from there to be efficient. Thanks in advance!
kjchan
Don't forget Force Sweep. Last night I was surprised to see that it was still available, though the blog post said that it was getting replaced with Vigilant Thrust (worst name ever for an ability IMO ). So I noticed that Force Sweep now has a 20% sunder...And reading saber throw, it seems to have a sunder too. If the 3 are stackable I would definitely lead off with S. Throw, F. Leap, F. Sweep. And now that F.Sweep spreads burning DOT, depending if you are attacking a group, I would definitely prioritize F.Sweep when it comes off cooldown, if you've already applied Brand or Overhead Slash. Amira_Drayen
I was lost myself and actually rerolled as a shadow (was only up to 14 anyway). Does anyone know if the sunders do in fact stack? If so I might have to switch back!

They do not stack. They just refresh the duration.

Marqhill
Open up with saber throw to sunder your target before you leap in. Then leap in and use Overhead Slash. The burn affect from overhead slash will "beat down" your target and cause you to do an additional 5% damage. Then you root them with master strike. Master strike will be ignoring 20% of their armor from sundering and then an additional 5% damage from beat down. Then you hit them with plasma brand. Plasma brand will automatically reset master strike. Then you hit them with another super powered master strike. At which point, if your target isn't dead you can force push and rinse repeat... If you are at least level 57 then you should be able to sneak in a dispatch off of a keening proc. This is the vigilance rotation that you will do and your opponents will hate life. See, I knew it was all there just couldn't put it together in my head! Dammit... now I have to decide if I want to reroll again. Alec_Fortescue
I am wondering if ignoring saber throw will get you higher. Leap and open with the new saber smash with Sundering talent. It has pretty nice crits.

He forgot the auto-crit blade storm between the plasma brand and the second master strike though (BTW Master Strike is now far weaker. Well its still good, but its not 20k damage good)

Amira_Drayen
Would you want to toss another sunder out before the second master strike? Edited December 4, 2014 by Amira_Drayen
