Flechette Round Animation

With the 3.0 changes and the introduction of the Disciplines system, Flechette Round/Acid Blade is now a passive ability rather than an active one for Scrapper/Concealment.

Alas Flechette Round animation, you like the Orange Pixel were taken from us too soon. The furtive loading of the shells, the brazen and cocky flip of the scattergun...it shall be missed.

The Devs were able to preserve the animations for Shoot First/Hidden Strike. I don't suppose there's a sensible way to keep the Flechette Round/Acid Blade animations in the game.

i dont think it should be taken at all rather instead of being taken take something else..

Pugnacity? Ahhh? ahhh?

Actually, that doesn't make sense at all.

Plus, acid blade would make no sense with Stim Boost.

I can't think of any self-buffs we get to shoehorn the animation onto.

I say allow acid blade to be a one time buff application similar to the application of the class buff. Once you apply it the buff remains on and if you want your toon to do the animation, go for it.

They could just make it a Stance for concealment/scrapper, yes, but then that kind of goes against what they were trying to do with ability bloat in 3.0.

I'm right with you guys, though, going to miss that animation.

What about starting the Animation for "Recuperate" with the old Flechette Round Animation and after the Scattergun is put away start the usual "flip a coin and shoot it"-thingy?

Yeah man we had crazy ability bloat, good job they removed all those abilities so I can figure out how to play properly!

I'm also happy the removed 8 man ranked so I didn't have to think about team comps and tactics!
