Gavin_Darkl
did you read all of his/her post? also what is it with you and the need to be guilded to enjoy the game? Why cant you be in a guild or have a group of friends in game? Why do you come into an MMO as a single player and expect it to play the same as a Single Player game? Maybe he/she doesnt want socialise but that his/her choice. we are all paying the same amount to play this game equal rights to enjoy the playing style we choose. lokivoid
At least for the foreseeable future anyway, which is just fine by me. Read and weep: Stephen Reid: We're aware of this desire, but we actually believe that finding others on the same planet as you encourages social interaction a bit more than a general 'group finder'. We're not saying it'll never, ever happen but again, not high priority right now. Translation: we dont know how to implament it, using our budget engine's (hero engine) limited API functionality. skaaz
Dont let the door hit you on the way out. I know at least 50 players willing to take your place if they dont implement a LFD tool. Some of the same people who quit rift the day it came out. LoL. Yea, the LFG tool makes for a bad community. Thanks for proving my point.

Becuse Swtor is clearly designed to be a single player game with MMO aspects poorly tacked on.

I won't be so crass as to tell players who want this to go back to WoW, but I will point out that you now have a clear choice. All that ToR needs is world channel to look for people. There is always 50-100 people on each planet. Would be nice to get out and reach everyone when looking for people.
Gavin_Darkl
Different playing styles. Maybe he/she doesnt want socialise but that his/her choice. we are all paying the same amount to play this game equal rights to enjoy the playing style we choose. See that statement again. We are all paying the same amount to play this game. The same argument was made for single players to get the same gear as raiders and PVPers. Sorry your $15 and Month does not equal the same $15 a month of someone else. Logically you say yes it does but here is why. If your paying to play a Single Player game, but its an MMO your playing the wrong genera, a single player game is just that a single player game. You get all the content without social interaction. When you are paying to play an MMO you are paying for Social interaction with other people. This was the intent of MMOs since UO, even if UO was more of a solo type of MMO. Many people made friends in game and created Social Functions in game. So yea a person can pay $15 a month but its not always equal to the next person. A little better example is Person A pays $15 a month for a Gym and uses all the equipment and gets in shape. The Gym does not have a pool and the gym has no plans of getting or wanting a pool. Person B pays $15 a month for the same membership however does not use the equipment and wants a pool. Person B whines and crys that his $15 a month is the same as Person As and that the business should provide him what he wants. Even though he joined a gym without a pool. To put a pool in the gym would need to be 50% of its current size and hurt its clients. In the end it forces the people if the pools in to either use the pool to keep in shape or deal with half the machines.

Delekii
Your logic is so utterly ridiculous I find it hard to believe you aren't a troll. It is the kind of logic that is absolutely steeped in immovable, illogical thought. Pointless to argue with. Nothing about LFD inhibits social interaction within groups; it only stops the spam associated with making groups in the first place. Your position is null and void. Kemosobe
Why are there so many people who just want easy button? Why does no one want to actually play the game anymore? Bioware, please do not follow the horrible trend and screw up SWTOR before it even has a chance to take shap.

Nope i pay to play a game the social interaction is a bonus not what im paying for. Also you example isnt a good one since person B would go to a pool rather then spend 15 dollars on something he wasnt using.
Gavin_Darkl
Becuse Swtor is clearly designed to be a single player game with MMO aspects poorly tacked on. Well I disagree with you there. It seems to be more a MMO then a single player game. You get many 2+ person quest on each world. Most of the time you can do it with your companion however many times you can not. So it makes more of a need for a player then most MMOs. WoW had the same deal back in Vanilla where you had to group to complete quest. I think you have a valid opinion here, however I would disagree with it because my statement.

I have not had a single problem when I have looked for a group for anything. Wanna know how? I do this crazy concept called ask and be social. Maby if you people would actually play the game, you would see there is more to it than flashpoints, operations, warzones, and speeding your way to 50.
