About guilds on the red eclipse

im kinda returning player on brand new account and since i preordered shadow of revan i did few 55s. Each one of them was in diffrent guild - because i wanted to find the "perfect" fit for me. And so far - nothing. I hate leaving guilds or whatever, but when you log in and see like 5people online in 470members guild - thats kind of sad. I've been in one that had ąround 25-30 players online quite often, but people in it were a bit inmature etc. not to mention the leader who was horrible - but im not here to judge or name and shame - so name remains the secret. So my question is if there is possibly active ~~least 30 people online 18+ guild or some people that would like the idea of merge - side doesnt matter for me. Edited by Eidolooon

Almost the same situation for me but i'm so casual that i really don't care about.

To be frank with you i doubt that you'll be able to find a guild to your taste on this server as many are pretending to be the best but actually they're not.

I wish you good luck...

I'm in a similar boat. I've tried large guilds, guilds with witty sounding fun names, guilds declaring themselves as casual friendly and running fp's and op's. Guess what, they're all the same. Guild with 26 people online zero activity between any of them, same goes for smaller guilds. I may be unfair because I think it's just the nature of how things have grown now in mmo communities. Running a TFB op last Sunday resulted in a guy fully equipped in 180 gear rolling need on a 162 rated implant. He said if I wanted to play fair I should play Republic and not expect it from emp side?? Only a couple of people found his actions disdainful and he kept the implant. Seems even fairness may die nevermind death (work it out) That ruled out another guild I was considering.

I've done the same as you....tried alt's in various guilds to see which is best....all to no avail.

Maybe we should compare notes :)

Didn't just want to throw a guild advert on this thread so I am going to point you all over to this http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=758177 and explain.

That is post we made about the Cake guilds on Red eclipse. Cake was set up after the leadership of the multi game guild we had joined decided that SWTOR wasn't the game for them. A decision that was made by a group of people that no longer played or had never played SWTOR. After that a bunch of us decided that we really didn't want the same type of guild these people had formed or had been formed a million times in game already. The end result is the Cake guilds as they stand today, still here well over a year later.

Yes we are busy with people flipping from the Rep to Imp guilds depending on mood but not madly so. We still have a good idea who everyone is and find the time to talk to each other We are not hard core or so casual that nothing is ever done. We don't have a hoard of officers, in fact we don't have any. Just people who do certain jobs and we only have one guild rule. Don't be an arse. We also don't fill up game chat with our adverts, we approach people who ask or let word of mouth bring people in.

We have had some success. We do pretty well in operations both 8 and 16 man. Most of us have a million alts taking part in what ever is happening. We find ourselves in the top ten invasion list pretty often, have two very large guild ships that cost us a hundred million and most importantly we have parties with prizes for often no reason more than we like them.

I like what we have. Its not a group of immature kids playing tyrant. But adults (the odd younger person), men, women, couples, gay and straight playing an MMO for fun together. No dramas, no arses.

If your tempted take a look.

That's what they all say... the ones that usually advertise as no a holes/egos/relaxed usually have the a holes the egotistic and the pushy in from my experience.
