Curious to ask you guys which you wud prefer, new character models or just more upgrades/featured?

A complete graphical haul retouched everything? Or

Things like

New sizes e.g fat girl or tall slim guy

Tattoos, male body hair options

More faces

More hairstyles, colours etc

Race touch ups like more twi'lek colours etc

More options like option for Adam's apples on all males

Facial hair thickness sliders

The list can go on

hmmm...would I rather have something that would extend the game, bring/retain more players and give new things to do........or do I want my Chiss to have green hair?

Gee..I dunno.

And....both of those would be things everyone would like..but only ONE of those would be stupid to take over the other in terms of game longevity.......hint; green hair on a chiss may look nice, but have fun with that while having nothing new or new to do and watching people leave one by one as time goes on and the game doesn't change.

my take on models is that there are enough options to make a relatively unique looking character if you choose. The problem is that many players gravitate toward a more limited pool of appearances, because they are more appealing. So, adding more models ain't gonna matter as much as those who advocate them think.

Its important to remember that the dev team that performs tasks such as designing a new hair style are not the same devs that design new missions, planets, and flashpoints. 3d Modelling and graphical textures tend to go to Graphic Design artists, whereas the design of new content would go to a group of programmers and engineers. When the programmers and engineers are done creating a new object they will send it over to the artists to have textures added to its not impossible for the two teams to plan the work in such a way that its possible to deliver new models/textures for things like hairstyles and new content without one taking away from the other.

Either way, it will never be up to the players to prioritize the work the devs do. Its best to not even worry about it because not only will we likely never know how or why Bioware prioritized things the way they do, we will never be in a position to give input on those priorities. If you think new artwork, object models and textures are something that would add to the game, then make some suggestions to ask for what you want. If you think new content is needed, then suggest they add that content. If you think both are good for the game, then ask for both. Just ask for you want and let Bioware make the decisions on which ones should be implemented and the order in which they should do so. :)

If it's a graphic rework in order to improve performances, then I'd welcome an update that only addresses this.

I mean, who hasn't been bothered each time your screen freeze because another player entered your surrounding ?

Who has not be bothered to see some useless graphics at work ? (Like when elevator panels do not display, and you see what's under, and that's a very tiny diagnotic screen similar to the big consoles that you see here and there... Did it had to be there ? No ! Wasted ressource !)

Now, if it's cosmetic graphical rework, for me, it depends about what it is :

- More personalisations, species things like that => as good as "features"

- New art style => unimportant
