ryryfriefriend
12xp boost is going to be over in two weeks and it takes me about 11 to 12 days to lvl a class to 55 with the boost and i think im gonna do an assassin for my last one. Is the story line slow going and hard to get through like the imperial agent or short? Will the stealth help very much? thank you in advance. mmerry
I just leveled a second sin and with a xp boost consumable on the whole way. I think I hit 47 after 1-2 quests on Voss. 47 to 55 was on makeb. If you marathon I think you can finish in 9-10 hrs. As for the story, there is a bit of "go to planet, talk to 1 guy, leave planet". It's been forever since I leveled an agent, but if I remember there was a lot of extra side stuff to do as you are progressing. Stealth is great because you can stealth/rocket boots through mobs. Evolixe
I levelled my second Shadow: http://imgur.com/EqMqAJQ Now I do have a ton of experience with this class since I played it at a high level for quite a while.. but if I can do it in 9 hours without trying too hard, then anyone can do it in double that time for as long as the 12x exp is still active. Best Assassin time I've seen was 8:17. Of course, that was the player's 32nd level 55 character, so he had a pretty good idea what he was doing. What's even funnier was that he did it faster on a Powertech at 7:31.
Evolixe
I didnt really intend to powerlevel it. I just noticed it was going rather quick around the level 32 mark so i was like what the hell.
IInox
idd. doing these played time isn't difficult for stealthy classes, especially as infiltration.
ryryfriefriend
Thanks for the info. Gonna start my assassin in a few days:). Although the SI story has a lot of traveling. Will that slow down the leveling process much? Should i just level a scoundrel?
Evolixe
I don't think there is one class story that has significantly more, or less, travelling than another. Ultimately it really shouldn't matter if you put your mind to it.
sloasdaylight
I leveled my shadow in just over a days worth of game time, but a lot of that was spent PvPing around lvl 35 or so with some guildies, and doing some side quests. I'm leveling a sage now and aiming to beat that mark pretty substantially.
jomoroon
you can stealth walk through everything with infil class. It goes through story line faster than other class in my opinion.
Yezzan
27-30 hours is a reasonable time for the average player, which should span 3 days. People who say 9 hours are veterans and probably have the assassin droid/treek unlocked on all toons. Quick travel, rocket boost and speeder piloting at level 10 has a lot to do with it too. Moreover if you already know the terrain and quest line progression like the back of your hand, you most definitely will finish faster. Also start using your exp boosts after you leave starter worlds, otherwise by the time you hit Alderaan most of your quests will be yellow, and that makes it harder to kill bosses/mobs

He also has all 4 strongholds, which can make travel conveniently fast sometimes.

I returned to the game after 2 years off and I'm really struggling to level in record time. I don't have a high level alt to feed me gear and some of the boss fights have been brutal with me having to replay them a couple times. It also I seems that sins are lacking some key tools until they get into their 40s (ie I haven't unlocked voltaic slash.)

I don't even HAVE treek nor hk. And I didn't bother prepping anything at all. I do have quick travel and fleet cooldown reductions from my legacy as well as the maxed rocket boost. But anyone with a legacy above level 20 pretty much has that.
MusicRider
Spacebar is your friend... otherwise it will take a significantly longer time to level to 55. Gear with the 12x xp boost doesn't matter, you are levelling so fast that it becomes obsolete after a couple of hours... but at the same time you should be some levels higher than story mission level. Pack that with the random variable skill and no mob/boss should give you trouble... On my very first char, a sage, I remember an optional boss, Tassandra, that has given me a hell of a time (in fact she has given me the most difficult time out of all bosses in all classes stories) even if I was geared and a level higher... On levelling a second sage when I encountered her I was undergeared and I think the same or 1 level higher than her... I gave her a go with not much expectations, it was such an easy fight which I can't remember why she gave me hard time in the first place.
