Ken_P
is there an easy way to build up legacy I have characters from levels 50 to level 10 but legacy is only at level
DogeDandolo
You gain Legacy Experience as a function of your normal, per-character XP. For the first few levels, you get a roughly equivalent amount of Legacy XP per XP gained. At higher levels, you get less Legacy XP per XP, but the rising amounts of XP gained from high-level quests makes it more profitable instead of less. In other words, the only way to increase your legacy XP is by gaining normal XP. I hit Legacy Level 50 some time around my 12th character.
Essence_of_Light
From what I've seen, level 55 Operations give a decent amount of Legacy XP. But like the poster above said, you gain Legacy XP just by doing activities that would grant normal XP. DogeDandolo
From what I've seen, level 55 Operations give a decent amount of Legacy XP. Because the enemies you're defeating give a lot of XP. You're just not going to see it, being level-capped.
Sharzade
I'm also newly back, and thanks to these forums I've learned that by doing quest optional objectives, I'll get extra legacy points. Nonetheless, I don't see my Legacy getting anywhere high fast, its way smaller than your 12 (mine is still 3). Even if legacy is quite slow, it's nice that some achievements give cartel coins - helpful to have down the road.
Eidolooon
legacy exp is around 1/7 or 1/8th of the exp. every level obviously costs more. if i recall correctly from 49 to 50 u needed around 500k legacy exp. so the higher mobs, the higher quests u do - the more legacy exp u get. as u said u have many characters, some of them are low levels, thats why your legacy level is not that high. I'm currently at Legacy L48, and L49 requires 711k XP. So yeah, Legacy L48 from everything in my sig + a handful of teens. As others have said, it's a function of regular XP so there's really no way around it.
Yezzan
I have legacy level 40 and i am still new player. I pre-ordered the Shadow of Revan pack though so I'm just power-leveling as many toons as I can until the promo expires. Then I will pick a class and try to learn the mechanics Right now I'm playing a Jedi Shadow which I was hoping would be my main but I am not liking the republic players so I might have ot make a Sith Assassin. JediQuaker
Note that even level 55 characters can still earn legacy xp based upon the XP they would gain if they weren't maxed,
