I'm working on BBA reputation and I can't undrestand how does Kingpin stuff works All guides I've manage to find are outdated (last year or so). Could someone explain me how does it work? I purchased one for 5 completed contracts on my char and I can take a weekly quest. When I finish it, will it appear next time event begins? If that is so, am I supposed to buy all kingpin contracts to be able to do all them as weekly or what? I would appreciate if someone gives me an explonation or a link for updated guide! Drudenfusz Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 Yes, if you buy them all you can do them all in the one week, but they also share like the normal bounty quests a daily timer, that means you can do only one kingpin a day. that means if you buy more than one kingpin contract at a day that you already have done a kingpin the other contracts will not show up until the next day. Khantalas Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 When you use the kingpin contract authorization item, after a humorous set of casts and channels, you immediately get the quest. It is possible to solo if you are sufficiently geared, but having a group within two levels of you is ideal. Theoretically, you can do as many kingpin contracts as you have characters in a week, but it is kind of time consuming if you don't have leftover contracts and BBA certificates from the previous event. Yes, the KP contract eligibility will stay unlocked for future events and you will be able to do it next month. You can buy them all if you want, such as if you want the achievements for doing them all, or not. Up to you. Me, I have too many toons to do all the Henchmen bounties that I could each day in the time I have available, so I am not buying anymore KP bounty unlocks. I do bounties for the Contracts so I can buy the BtL gear with them, and therefore do not want to spend 5 contracts on KP bounty unlocks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anniahilus Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Well, I've helped out guildies with this before that were wanting to get Legend status for BBA, and this was my advice to them: Before BBA comes back again: Have a few alts (I would recommend at least 5) that can run Bounties, which means they only need to be lvl 15-17 (can never remember for sure). Once BBA event starts: DAY 1: (Starting with 0 completed bounty contracts "CBC") Each character can run 1 henchman bounty per day. So I would run my 5 toons and do the bounties. That nets me 5 CBC. With those 5, I use my main best geared toon (which was one of the 5 toons that killed a henchman already for the day), and I go to the vendor and purchase a Kingpin contract. Read it, then go to the terminal and pick up the mission. Go do that bounty, and finish it, and now I have another completed bounty contract. End the day with 1 CBC. DAY 2: Start with 1 CBC. Run my same 5 toons and go kill 5 more henchman. I now have 6 CBCs. Go purchase another (but different) Kingpin Contract with my main toon (same one that did a kingpin the day before). Go do that Kingpin. End day with 2 CBC. DAY 3: Start with 2, do same routine, pick different Kingpin, end with 3. DAY 4: Start 3 end 4 DAY 5: Start 4, end 5. Now on DAY six you have a choice. If you continue on this path, you will end up with 7 CBC by the end of the week. Or, you can buy a new Kingpin contract for your main, like you were planning on doing, plus a Kingpin contract for your next best geared alt. By doing this, you will have +2 per day for the remaining two days of the event, which is more Kingpin rep tokens. Yes, once you unlock a Kingpin contract, that mission will show up for the toon you unlocked it on every time the BBA comes back. TL;DR Each character can complete 1 Henchman bounty, and 1 Kingpin bounty per day. The more toons you have doing this, the faster it goes.
