ryryfriefriend
I dont have much time before the 12xp boost is gone and need to get a quick 55 (already leveled a Merc) so i need the fastest and easiest story quest chain to get through. Thank you in advance.
Master-Nala
There is no meaningful difference in speed among the classes. The stealth classes can skip a lot of fights though, so if I had to pick it would be an Assassin, Shadow, Scoundrel or Operative.

Pretty much this. I levelled a 55 shadow and having stealth / mind maze / rocket boost equalled a very quick levelling run. That moment I found out I could rocket boost whilst in stealth = I instantly fell in love with any stealth classes
MagikFingerz
FYI: Agent story is NOT fast, despite having stealth. Just finished leveling my Op, and there were quite a bit more stuff in between planetary story missions, backtracking etc. Good story though, but it takes time. Can't remember any huge time differences between smuggler, consular and inquisitor, so any of the stealth classes there should be fine. Consular/Inquisitor also has Force Speed, so that helps a bit I suppose. EDIT: Just remembered that on my Deception Assassin (ie Infiltration Shadow) there's a talent in the skill tree that reduces the CD of Force Speed, making you able to do 2 in between each Rocket Boost (fully unlocked). That makes for some speedy stealthy traveling Edited November 10, 2014 by MagikFingerz
NogueiraA
Sith Warrior is fast, there's only one quest that you have to kill all the mobs to get some key to open doors.

Im thinking of ditching it for now and starting a scoundrel, shadow, assasin maybe a vanguard and maybe a sith warrior:D
DomiSotto
I've just finished the Class chain for Inquisitor, and it has a lot of travelling back and forth to Korriban and DK between each planet really. It took me far longer than the Warrior.
BlueShiftRecall
Recently finished levelling a Sniper off and my had I forgotten the amount of travelling you have to do! Nearly every planet revolves around Travel to DK, then travel to Planet X and talk to someone, then travel back to DK talk to someone, then Travel to Planet Y Talk to someone then report back to DK before heading off to talk again to someone on Planet X.... But yeah Agent = no quick levelling. Edited November 15, 2014 by BlueShiftRecall

You have two load screens, but it's still much better than taking the ship. Also, it has no activation time or cooldown. If you have lots of memory, use swtor unleashed to improve load times. Eidolooon
i doubt that stories are that much diffrent in terms of diffucilty. i would pick most interesting stealth class there is - since stealth makes it faster, and once u enjoy playing (thats why i want it to be interesting) u should improve your performance a bit too. sooo... agent operative? Doesn't always work because some of the missions are "Use your ship to travel to DK". With those you'll have to go stronghold -> ship (clicking DK in NaviComputer) -> stronghold -> Exit to DK (which is still faster than going through the spaceport, but yeah). Heezdedjim
I did all eight classes, and the only one I would not recommend for a speed run is Consular, unless you have done one before. They all run into ******** like ping pong missions at some point, but Consular is the only one where you have a non-trivial chance of wiping repeatedly on a couple of class missions if you don't know how to handle them. Time wasted re-speccing or googling for one weird old trick to beat Attis Station or the Stark fight can add up, or make you want to just /ragequit. Other than that, any of them can be done in 20-25 hours, even if you're not particularly pushing it. And you should be able to scrape that much time together between now and December 1. Just remember to head to Makeb the second you hit 47 and you'll be fine.
