If it wasn't for the crew skill bonus thingies you can put on them, they'd be the first ones going out the airlock (if that was still possible). If you use the ship droid for combat, you're doing it wrong. While you can, you never should. It is always better to use your first companion over the droid. Furamos Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Either give him a blaster pistol/ rifle or turn off his damn melee stupidity. "My chassis couldn't handle the stress, Master" but then he *********** goes into melee range to attack. He is a healer and he should focus on not being in melee combat. If he would stay at range, he could be a decent healer. Some classes don't get their healer til much later in game and it could pose a problem for those of us who like a little extra healing.
