Khayleth
So I know the dps issue has been brought up and discussed to death, but what about the hp growth from 55-60? Has that been brought up at all? I've been wondering, I recall at level 50 in the best gear tanks were sitting at something like 23-24kish hp while at 55 in the best gear (without hp augments) it's 42-44k right now. Will we be seeing another 20k increase in hp? Will it almost double again and take us in the 70-80k+ range? I'm hoping the increase won't be so exponential. Darth-Mailman
The sniper they showed in the latest dev stream had about 47k health. He was wearing (at least partial) 198 rating gear. Couldn't see augments etc, so no idea about that.
TrigPt
The level 60 sniper on the last dev stream had 47k HP . Assuming he was wearing new gear without augments I would guess tanks will be getting close to 60k.

ToMyMa
If this indeed is true, then PvP might actually become playable as commando (yoloranked), since the kill time will increase drastically, if the DPS numbers stay roughly the same (55 DPS right now should be around level 60 DPS in 3.0)

Exosasa
We will all get much more hp, less damage The damage will be the same, maybe a little more with the new gear. Damage at 55 will be less, but why would you want to stay 55?

Loc_n_lol
It seems his augment slots were empty. Also not sure if he was wearing the token gear or comms gear, or even if the distinction is still relevant in regard to enhancements. He didn't have the detailed tooltips on. Jrr_hypernova
Not sure but I don't think Harry potters going to get any new books let alone one where's he's a senior.

Also not sure if he was wearing the token gear or comms gear, or even if the distinction is still relevant in regard to enhancements. He didn't have the detailed tooltips on. He was wearing token gear (you could tell by the set bonuses), so that 47k hp was DPS HP without augments. If we add in augments, ill do some guesswork to get endurance values: level 50 augments were 11 endurance level 55 augments were 20 endurance so we can expect level 60 augments to be ~29 endurance 14 of these is 406 endurance, so a DPS would have ~51.2k hp in optimized 198s. As for PvP, if they are making the same jumps as previous PvP gear jumps, expect unranked to be rating 168s and ranked to be 174s - so a DPS in PvP will have ~37.7k hp in Ranked gear and ~35.7k hp in unranked gear Note: This is probably a little low, as I am not including any increase in base HP or anything like that. davidp_newton
Looked like comms gear to me from the stats. It's the endurance v the main stat which is the giveaway. Even on a character with no current main stat boost, like a sentinel or marauder the main stat will be slightly higher than the endurance in full raiding gear when unstimmed. On the stream the endurance was something like 330 higher than the main stat. Edited November 3, 2014 by davidp_newton

davidp_newton
It appears that I was wrong about having a slight advantage for main stat unstimmed. This does indeed appear to be token gear. It makes you wonder just what on earth a comms-geared person at rating 198 will look like in terms of endurance?!

We don't really have a precedent for PvP gear. The last expac changed the system from PvP gear have equal rating to high end PvE gear, to PvP gear being significantly lower rating.than high end PvE gear. this expac as far as we know is not changing the system so it is unclear where the ratings will go. My guess is that since basic gear for 3.0 will be 180, then unranked PvP will likely be at least 174.
