Loadsamunny Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 By that, I mean are we ever going to be able to just buy out the specific Class Legacy perks via credits/high enough Legacy level, or Cartel Coins, the ones that require you to either complete a companions quest line or a characters storyline? Seriously, with how time consuming it is to get affection with companions, I just don't ever see myself having the patience to do every single companions storyline. But I still want the tiny boosts you get for completing their quest lines (Health, Healing, Critical Rating, etc). And I want the full range of Heroic Moment abilities and class buffs. Are we ever going to get to just unlock these with CC or a high enough credit fee/legacy level without actually having to play each class to the conclusion of its story and max out each companions affection? I tried. lol So that means I can have a maximum of +200 Presence on all my Republic characters? Or 400 if I complete Imperial storylines too? Thought you might get it so I didn't interfere. Regarding presence, my 55's all have at least 900 presence. I don't honestly use my companion enough, since I mostly do Starfighter and Warzones. Is another 350 Presence going to make a HUGE difference in Doc's healing and occasional DPS? If I delete the characters after I unlock the class buffs, will they stay unlocked, or will I lose them if I delete the characters? If I'm going to do this then I'm going to be skipping all dialogue and cutscenes and basically speed-running this crap and I'll eventually want to run the character again to see the entire storyline and build it right. You only need to do the story to get class buffs and heroic moment abilities. MediumD Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Well, to be fair, raising affection to 6,000 is cheap and and only takes minutes. It's going from 6000 to 10000 that is hard. I maxed out 13 comps last night. It wasn't hard, just tedious. Buy the gift affection boost legacy perks. Buy rank1 gifts to 6,000 on Fleet. Buy rank2 gifts to 7,000. Start conversations. Tailor answers to maximize affection. Throw junk gifts (from leveling crew skills) at your comp. That'll get you to 8,000-8,500 or so. Buy some rank5 blues or purples to finish up. Cause I simply don't have the tenacity for it... So you want to pay $ to earn buffs & etc? That sounds like something approaching a Pay to win plan to me. I'm gonna have to disagree with this one. I maxed affection with both Kira and Nadia while leveling and sub level 40. I didn't use any gifts and had them out for every conversation. The same can be said of Mako, Risha, Vette and Quinn.
