The-Eradicator Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) I'm using Jaesa Willsaam as a companion with my level 46 Sith Warrior. Edited October 28, 2014 by The-Eradicator
NYYankee Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Can you please provide more info? Are you specc'd for DPS or tank? Have you tried using a healer companion? Without knowing more, the standard responses in this type of situation are: Make sure your gear is up to date. Use your interrupts whenever possible. The more info you can provide, the easier it will be to help.

The-Eradicator Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 I'd also add: - What level and strength (Strong, Elite, Champion) is the boss? I don't know but I'm using Quinn. I just bought some armor upgrades at Corellia . I'm gonna try again.
NYYankee Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Good luck! For future reference, you can whether an enemy is strong/elite/champion by the color of the star near their name. Silver = Strong Gold = Elite Silver and Gold = Champion This page has pictures. I won't vouch for the other info on the page. I'd recommend Dulfy.net for good SWTOR info.
Merouk Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) Lord Ovakar is part of this Sith Warrior class quest, and is a Marauder. Couple notes: - Class quests are always the same level as you, so you have to be decently geared in order to win them. You have to have at least green quality gear that's appropriate for Sith Warrior (Strength), of the same level as you, in all the equipment slots in your character sheet. Then, equip your companion the same way. Both of you have to be geared. - Class quests are designed for your class: if your class can stun, sleep, push-back, or otherwise control the enemy, you'll be EXPECTED to use these abilities. You have an interrupt that you can use every 4 seconds, a stun, and a bunch of knockbacks and "I'm immune for 12 seconds" abilities , you'll have to use them to interrupt Ovakar's big damage attacks. - As a Marauder, Ovakar is like Jaesa, it's a melee character that hits HARD but can die somewhat easily. You have two options: either kill Ovakar fast by doing lots of DPS (if you are Sith Marauder you can take Jaesa or Vette and both of you will do DPS to kill fast), or you can resist his damage and kill him slow (if you are Sith Juggernaut with the Tanking (defense) tree, take Quinn (healer) and between your armor and his heals you'll barely be scratched). Class quests are the same level as you ... unless you are over the level or under the level of the class quest. So, usually NOT the same level as you. Your level changes, the class quests' levels do not. Do gear up appropriately, however.
