Snownight
'm level 16 and been leveling through the 12x experience package. Since i'm doing only story missions do I have to go back to the starting planet and do all those missions before I can unlock my advanced class? I'm playing the imperial agent. I did the fleet return ability to go to the big circle place and went there to learn it but he kept stating "dont bother me" I had a lvl 40 before that I leveled at launch but decided to start playing again since I got into the Star Wars books. I pretty much forgot everything about the game so decided to start fresh.
flyersfan
Once you hit level ten, regardless of whether or not you've done any story missions, you can select your AC. Go to the Imperial Fleet and go to where the elevator to Hutta/Korriban shuttles is. Looking into the Fleet from that elevator will be an NPC on your right that will give you the mission to get your AC.
Gomla
Your advanced class has nothing to do with what missions you've done. You can grind on mobs until you hit level 10 if you really want, you just need to hit that 10. As soon as you hit 10 go to fleet and you'll get a quest near combat training (just outside the elevator to Tython/Ord Mantell or Korriban/Hutta) and then pick your class. Just need to be 10. Edit- really should stop posting when I should be sleeping. Completely missed the post above me that already explained it all.
