Tiis
What class has the least amount of button mashing,(easiest) as i'm not as nimble as you young ones:) i had an assassin at lvl 31 but didn't like how many powers/abilities i had on my tool bar, i got confused as what to do, wether to go range(ish) or melee. i'm not looking form the best/op. I just want to have fun at end game wether in pvp or with guildies doing instances(or whatever they're called) and i have played them all to lvl 20 ish, and i slightly enjoy the PT a little bit more than the others. Many thanks for anything you can help me with. Edited October 26, 2014 by Tiis

Faolon
I guess it depends on how much is too much. After thinking about it a bit, I think either Trooper or Bounty Hunter might be fun for you. You don't really so heavily on TONS of abilities. You don't have to worry about positioning, either. With Gunnery Commandos and Arsenal Mercenaries, you pretty much use one button over and over, occasionally adding other attacks. You use Grav Round/Tracer Missile over and over to get procs and build a buff. Once you get the proc, you use Full Auto(Commando) or Unload(Mercenary). Once you've built up a 5 stack of the buff you get from Grav/Tracer, you use High Impact Bolt('mando) or Rail Shot(Merc). Their AoE's are nice, as well. Since you enjoy powertech, why not give that a shot for a while? IIRC, Powertechs/Vanguards actually have the fewest number of abilities of any class. DogeDandolo
If you want to stick with your current character, you could respec into Madness. There's one ability you use on cooldown, one you use on proc, two you use ever 18 seconds or so, and one you spam in between.
Whojoo
Some which seem fairly easy in my head (not in any specific order): Sniper (especially Lethality, but Marksman has an easy basic as well). Powertech and Mercenary like mentioned before. Madness sorcerer is fairly easy-ish. Depends on how well you can keep debuffs active on the enemy. republic mirrors are (in order): Gunslinger, Vanguard, Commando and Jedi Sage. Oh and every class will get a lot of abilities on the toolbar, but that doesn't mean that they are all regulary used. For example, I use on my pyrotech powertech 6 abilities on a regular basis. But my quickbar has many more abilities available. You can always ask on the forum which abilities are more important. There are many people who love to help Edited October 27, 2014 by Whojoo

Fidelicatessen
Are you mad bro? My operative is the only class i NEED to have everything keybinded. I guess you are one of those baddies, no offence! ONT, powertech/vanguard or merc/commando should suit you, mr age 55. Man, is it really true that you get worse at gaming as the years goes by?! You get worse at TWITCH GAMING. You get better at other kinds
Ryuku-sama
rapid shot for heat management. E-Net for some extra burst. Plasma 'Nade for some AoE damage. Sticky can also be useful for some more AoE burst. Mortar Volley in AoE. Then all your OCD and DCD. Your kiting tools. Your interrupt. Your stuns. You aren't under 25 binds. The problem is eventually we aquire the Dreaded "LIFE", that is a huge time sucking beast that prevents us from waking up and stumbling to the computer to begin the next 18 hour day of gamming. Gidrea
Merc/Commando should also work fine This! I have the same problem, and my DPS Commando is great, and really fun, too. You have a lot of abilities, but the best rotation for Ops doesn't use a lot of them.

Faolon
Man, is it really true that you get worse at gaming as the years goes by?! Someone else already explained you get worse at "twitch gaming", and I can expand on that. I've been playing TF2 since the game launched. When it first came out I could rely entirely on my reaction time. However, over the years I noticed I wasn't as quick on the draw as before. If I try relying on my reaction speed now-a-days, I'll rarely hit anything. I still play that game and still do fairly well. I rely far more on my intuition and experience than I do reaction speed. I know enough about how people react to predict where they'll most likely go or end up. I also know enough that I can force people to do what I want them to sometimes, and do things that I know they wont expect. Though I can still react quickly enough, and adapt, to the things going on. I'm not quite that old, yet. The reason I mention all this is because it's one game I've been playing for long enough that I've noticed a change in how I play. It's the one game I still play where reaction speed really matters. And yes, it is a little depressing knowing that it's only going to get worse. Luckeyduckey
Reaction time is not decreased with age, despite what people say. It depends on how developed it is at a young age, hence why old people seem to have slower reaction times, due to not having the same access of technology that we have. ONT, powertech/vanguard or merc/commando should suit you, mr age 55. Man, is it really true that you get worse at gaming as the years goes by?! I have all classes at 55. My scoundrel does not have enough abilities to fill up all 23 of my keybinds. I do not bind things like mounts, recuperate or fluff that has no use while actually in combat. The powertech/vanguard and commando/merc have more abilities overall and to use in combat than scoundrels/operatives even though a few of those powertech/merc abilities are cooldowns you don't need every fight. Age does can slow you down. Age - if you have been a computer gamer as long as myself and the OP - can also mean carpal tunnel. I feel for those nutjob korean LoL and SC2 players, they will be paying for their keyboard antics later in life regardless of what kind of 'ergonomic' anything you use. Opferlamm
Since the discussion is quite dps-heavy I´ll throw in a tank. Juggernaut. The basic rotation/priority is/are quite simple, while avoiding redzones and popping cooldowns has more to do with prediction and experience than with reaction. Then only reaction you have to have early on is your counterattack. Later on with better def and lower CD you can just mash that button. You might have a lot more Buttons but a lot of them are on high to medium cooldown the choices to make are minimal.

In my experience Vanguard / Powertech tanks are a lot simpler than Juggs in terms of rotation. Much fewer defensive cooldowns to manage, well balanced, and you rarely have to use more than five abilities.
Jimvinny
It really depends on what you're doing. Casual pve content, you can get away with less than one quickbar worth of keybinds on pretty much any class. PvP on the other hand, you better have at least 20 keybinds, regardless of class, if you want to be competitive. Hardcore raiding requires even more.
