Lhancelot
My question of the day. Did imps change teams, and begin playing pubs like some of us did 3-4 weeks ago? Or, is there some other influence on TEH imps? It kind of sucks, even in lowbies and mids we used to have warzone pops during any time of the day. Now, not so much. If you know any players on other servers, try to get them to come to TEH. We need more imps to kill. I should also mention, the quality of play has taken a turn for the worse too. Imps generally played better than pubs. Now it seems the reverse. Pubs generally play better than the imps. I almost feel bad for the imps now. Poor imps! Prisoner
How 'bout you guys get to 55 instead of making server assumptions based on running lowbie hero premades against teams of level 14 keyboard turners? wadecounty
How 'bout you guys get to 55 instead of making server assumptions based on running lowbie hero premades against teams of level 14 keyboard turners? lol and once again I <3 you Jaxio I can tell you from the perspective of a guild that does pvp a bit (Nemesis) we are on and off with our activity, depending on what people feel like doing, whether we want to raid, try for conquest points, etc. So sometimes you may not see us much for a week or two, then you'll see us a lot, it varies. I know Guerrilla had some issues with their core, and Hex is like us where their playtimes aren't consistent. I've seen Art of War around some, they're good, so is Infamous, both new guilds. Lhancelot
How 'bout you guys get to 55 instead of making server assumptions based on running lowbie hero premades against teams of level 14 keyboard turners? ^ What exactly does that mean? Firstly, even in lowbies the levels go from 10-29, then mids are 30-54. So, how does level 14 have anything to do with what I asked? Also, calling people "keyboard turners", is that some kind of insult that indicates a level of lesser skill? I have known more than a couple KB turners who were top notch pvpers. I still give you a C+ for effort though, in insulting me and those I manage to beat in warzones. Since obviously, I could only beat a KB turner, and, level 14 at that. Seyahat
Heh, more silliness. But we really have had all the Anima threads we need. I was actually wondering where the imp first stringers were a couple of days ago. Then I got my clock cleaned repeatedly while pugging today. Be careful what you wish for. Lhancelot
I was actually wondering where the imp first stringers were a couple of days ago. Then I got my clock cleaned repeatedly while pugging today. Be careful what you wish for. Yeah, tonight some imps gave some decent fights in mids. Unusual. I was pleasantly surprised. Seems we have too many tanks and not enough high damaging dps in mids/lowbies. Healers are hit and miss. Sometimes too many healers, then none. But tanks... I guess pubs really like tanks. Seems like an overabundance of them.
Shenyu
Seems fine to me, honestly. The real hurtle has been trying to get people into ranked. Vsed one Pub team earlier today and they instantly stopped queueing after one loss. (Also looking for a permanent Tank to start pushing group queues..) Prisoner
What exactly does that mean? Okay, on the off chance that your threads aren't some kind of epic trolling taken to performance art level and you and your guild are actually that clueless, I will explain: Lowbies are full of all kinds of people. Some of them are veterans leveling through PVP or trying out a new class or grinding conquest points or simply blowing off steam. However, the vast majority of people playing in that bracket are new to the game, new to the class, or new to pvp period. Which is fine because: Lowbies are for learning. This is why the little league brackets are not representative of PVP on the server. The level cap is where the serious pvpers are. Which is why your guild is met with eyerolls every time you start one of these goofy threads on the forums. And I gotta admit, you guys are just as ridiculous in game as you are on the forums. I queued pub lowbies yesterday to do the weekly and get some conquest points, and got queued on the same team as three of your players. I watched the three of you act like complete tools to your own team game after game. Berating noobs for making mistakes (even though your own team was nearly just as bad), ************ noobs out for playing poorly, and being general wankers. Normally I would just shrug it off in 55 PVP, except, once again: Lowbies are for learning. They are not serious business. The derps and noobs are EXACTLY where they are supposed to be. YOU and your guild with pretensions of being serious PVPers are in the wrong place. So... If you must continue running premades forever in lowbie PVP, stop being such ********s to your own team and the people you face. Be nice, help people, tell your team what they need to do without being arrogant ***** about it. Knock off the chest thumping and stop pretending like rolling new players, many of whom literally created that toon you're stomping just a few hours before, is some kind of big accomplishment. Vsed one Pub team earlier today and they instantly stopped queueing after one loss. Heh I was on that team you stomped if you're talking about yolo queue. I queued again right after to try again, but everyone else must have dropped because it didn't pop for 10 min, at which point I got bored and queued regs again. (That's pretty much the story of ranked games for me.) Edited October 8, 2014 by Prisoner
Lhancelot
Okay, on the off chance that your threads aren't some kind of epic trolling taken to performance art level and you and your guild are actually that clueless, I will explain: Only I made these threads, don't try to create drama involving my guild when it is I who type on these forums. Lowbies are full of all kinds of people. Some of them are veterans leveling through PVP or trying out a new class or grinding conquest points or simply blowing off steam. However, the vast majority of people playing in that bracket are new to the game, new to the class, or new to pvp period. Which is fine because: We often times run into many "veterans", such as <Hex>, a rare <Guerrilla>, <Nemesis>, and many other PVP guilds which is why it's fun for us. These fights can be competitive which makes them fun. Lowbies are for learning. This is why the little league brackets are not representative of PVP on the server. The level cap is where the serious pvpers are. Which is why your guild is met with eyerolls every time start one of these goofy threads on the forums. Guys like you are met with eyerolls as soon as you say "serious pvpers", because most of us realize it's just a game meaning we PVP for fun, and the tiers do not matter. I know in your brain, somehow you have yourself convinced that ranked PVP is SERS BZNS but, it is not. Ranked also has nubs and learning players. Get off your high horse none of this is SERIOUS. Not even ranked. Normally I would just shrug it off in 55 PVP, except, once again: I "seriously" doubt this, because we had on at most 3 at one time yesterday and might have done 2-3 matches when the three of us grouped and we did not berate the team, or call them noobs. At most I myself even told someone to not stand guard on the node in hypergate because they could get sap-capped and i guarded it with that person who lost it 2 times because of making that mistake. Someone else in the WZ yelled and used caps that was not one of my guildies. So get your lies straight. Lowbies are for learning. They are not serious business. The derps and noobs are EXACTLY where they are supposed to be. YOU and your guild with pretensions of being serious PVPers are in the wrong place. Really? Again? Ok, so, you read my threads and get angered about what you percieve my threads mean, but, I have never said any of our matches were "serious", because, first off to me, this game is fun and the PVP is fun whether it's lowbies, mids, or 55s. You make me laugh in how serious you take this game. I suggest sit back, have fun, enjoy the PVP and don't get so hot and bothered by my threads. We both enjoy many facets of the game, and you even admitted that you play lowbies and mids PVP. I know you try to win there just as you try to win in ranked. Don't pretend you don't. I guess when you do ranked PVP though, you get serious then? So... If you must continue running premades forever in lowbie PVP, stop being such ********s to your own team and the people you face. Be nice, help people, tell your team what they need to do without being arrogant ***** about it. Knock off the chest thumping and pretending like rolling new players, many of whom literally created that toon you're stomping just a few hours before, is some kind of big accomplishment. We rarely have more than 3 people on, usually it's 2-3 of us in a warzone together and many times we solo queue too. You make it sound like we have 4-5 different groups we run at any given time. Again you word things in an exaggerated manner. Also, we tpyically are pretty quiet in the warzones as many other comments by other people have noted. You can lie and say we are arrogant but no one else says we come across that way in warzones. I would say that means you are not being exactly truthful in your observations. Basically I surmise you have some personal issues with our guild. Maybe you were stomped in a pub vs pub fight? Maybe you associate the name <Anima> with your least favorite music group Tool's album titled similarly? Afterall you did call us "Tools" and this was used in a derogatory way... I can't guess why you show so much animosity. I don't care either, because, well it's not serious. Most of us are competitive but we do it for fun. I have a few chars in mids now, and when I get to 55 if I ever do ranked I am pretty sure I will play it the same way I play lowbies and mids. No different than you. We all play to win no matter the tier, don't pretend you do not play other tiers to win and only in ranked do you play "serious".

The gree event is centred around ganking and I simply don't agree with ganking. WhistDarkblade
Lowbies are full of all kinds of people. Some of them are veterans leveling through PVP or trying out a new class or grinding conquest points or simply blowing off steam. However, the vast majority of people playing in that bracket are new to the game, new to the class, or new to pvp period. Which is fine because: Lowbies are for learning. This is why the little league brackets are not representative of PVP on the server. The level cap is where the serious pvpers are. Which is why your guild is met with eyerolls every time you start one of these goofy threads on the forums. This is so true. Aside from whether a player is new or not, in both the lower tiers there is a HUGE disadvantage to the lower levels. I have plenty of alts over the past month I have been leveling, running a KDY each day and doing on and off pvp. Only using those two methods to level. At the lower levels, 10 ~ 17 or 18, you will get totally crushed by players pushing the tier cap 25 ~ 29. Simply from the lack of abilities. Some specs (specifically tank specs) dont really get any solid tank abilities until around level 30, and by that time they end up facing level 54 tanks who are nearly maxed out. Even with bolster the lower level player simply cant compete from the lack of abilities. For example: A level 30 guardian tank, only has 1 or 2 defensive cool downs. A level 54 jugg tank has 4. No matter how good that level 30 is, he or she wont be able to match up with the potential protection and survivability of the higher level jugg. Ever. This is exactly how you approach lowbie pvp. Any, and I mean any decent level 20 pvper should be able to stomp a decent level 10 in any warzone at any time, simply by having more abilities and used skill points in their class at their disposal. Another example of this is the disruption ability. A level 10 player doesnt have that, meaning you can free channel any ability you have without fear of it being broken except by a stun or knockback. Sure its fun getting off over 500k dps or heals in lowbies, but that talent in no way shape or form is guaranteed to transfer to 55 WZs, and also is simply only a sign of the player knowing the class they are playing. Not at all indicative of the lvl 55 PvPer they could become. My last example: WZ after WZ I will push 500K dps on my lvl 22 gunslinger, taking the spot for top dps that match. Then suddenly I get a warzone with just random Imp pugs, but they dont give me any breathing room, and I get shut down to barely 200k. Why? What was the difference? My lvl 22 gunslinger was the highest lvl on my team, and I was facing a whole team of players over lvl 25. Just that 3 lvl difference was enough. 3 more skill points, and the potential for 3 more completely new abilities. Start talking when you get to 55. Until then its naive childish ignorance. #SEEYOUINRANKED Edited October 9, 2014 by WhistDarkblade
