Warzone Coms

I am just coming back to this game after a really long break and trying to get into the swing of things. I live for PvP and actually find the warzones on this game fairly entertaining, some more than others.

 

I am a lvl 28 warrior and pretty much spam que for warzones. I am currently capped on my coms.

 

Is there anything I can do with them? I mean I bought the lvl 20 stuff when I was lvl 20, and I have heard there is lvl 40 stuff when that time comes; but what about up until that point? Anything to spend coms on or transfer to a different currency? (i.e. transferring honor to valor in WoW)

Buy med packs and adrenals sell in general when you have stacks of 99 depending on server they go for 50/75k a stack also can buy crafting Matt's and sell on gtn don't buy gear with it the expertise mess's with bolster when u hit valor 40 start transferring too ranked comma

On most of my characters, i just buy stacks of medpacks and adrenals, so i don't have to buy them when my character gets to 55. When you get close to max coms, just buy one stack of medpacks, and one stack of adrenals, and it should take up most of your coms.

You can buy planetary comms. You can buy your level 40 set early so that when you hit level 40, you can convert all your comms into RWZ ones.

 

There's a trick you can do where you can buy an item and then sell it back before it expires for its comm value. This lets you get a full PvP set when you hit 55.

Basicly what you do is buy a pvp weapon. When you buy it, as long as you don't equip it, you can return it in two hours to get all the coms back. The two hours do not count if you are not on that character. You buy weapons, and then you sell the weapons/rebuy them every two hours of playing time, until you get to 55 and can buy your gear.

As long as you don't let them bind to you, I have had 2 or 3 bind to me before which was painful enough but I know of people who have Accidentally let 30 or so bind to them; if that happened to me I would probably just quit the game.

Just curious but if you are capped... Sell weapons just to buy them again...wouldn't that just cap you again...

So for example, you start with buying one weapon. You cap again and buy two weapons before exchanging your one weapon back out for comms (thus refreshing the timer on your weapon stash). Two hours later you buy three weapons and exchange two. So on and so forth until you hit 55.

 

Upon hitting cap, you start buying gear. So you buy two or three pieces of gear (thus being empty on comms) and then exchange two or three weapons back out for comms, thus filling up your comm stash again, allowing for more gear to be bought. Rinse and repeat until you are out of weapons stashed in your bay.

Also, a thank you to everyone else's responses. Really helps me out. Bought a full stack of the med pack things and a full stack of the damage reduction things. I spammed chat a couple times to sell them, didnt get any bites. Maybe I will try again later tonight.

 

I also bought some crafting mats and listed them for sale on the market. I saw a few other people doing this, so we will see if my stuff sells or not.

You just keep buying and selling it back, so when you hit 55 you will have alot of weapons to trade back and get FULL pvp gear. I started doing that at level 35 and ended up with so many weapons that i was fully ranked geared.
