Queuing Rated PvP without appropriate gear is leeching!

No one is going to take you alone into recent PvE Content if you are wearing your green leveling gear.

They're also adding bolster and group finder to SM ops in 2.8, and there are more tactical FPs on the way.

 

Honestly, I don't understand the PvP vs PvE discussion. If something is bad, it's bad whether or not PvE gamers experience it as well.

But still its not fair to the other 3 people who depend on you to be in your prime, and to help be in your prime you have to have the best gear.

It's no less fair when top notch ranked players/teams queue for regs and destroy the undergeared players....who are just trying to get gear so they CAN get into ranked. Except those garsh darn ranked players keep kicking the **** out of them in regts, thus slowing their progress to get gear by 3 fold......

Please stop trying to pretend its ok one way but not fair the other way.....it's embarrassing.

 

I don't want to be absolutely destroyed any more than I want to absolutely destroy the other team. Neither side of that is fun for me. Is it for you?

Your defense of this is malarkey. I don't like being dragged down either brother but neither way is fair and both happen. Either make it so neither can happen or deal with it. One side is not more important than the other my man.

please do not try to compare ranked and regs. In ranked, its competitive and its, as the name states, for a ranking on the leaderboards. With regs it does not matter as much as you do not get rank gain or loss from it, and regs are generally where people who are low geared go to earn some comms and get geared as well as gain some experience.

 

Your argument has a flaw :

 

In Unranked, people still DO play competitive - like in Ranked - BUT they are facing PUGs which are simply just not used to the high-class high-skill competitive play of Ranked - and THAT'S why the PUGs get steamrolled so often by Comm farmers.

 

It's like World Championship winners competing against school children in order to get even more medals.

hey I am just saying why you need gear for ranked thats it. Now thank you for the immature insults, I never once talked about premades in regs, I just said that regs are where players go to start pvp and to get geared and learn, or do you disagree? also, I am a geared guy but I almost never group for pvp. I still have the right though to play regular warzones. I do not like arenas that much, so I prefer warzoning over anything, and you can't tell me I should not be allowed to warzone just because I am geared either.

I think fully geared pre-made PvP groups going into a regular warzone and stomping everyone is a bad thing.

 

However, I don't think it has any bearing on whether undergeared/inexperienced players going into solo ranked is okay. "Bad thing X happens, so you can't complain about bad thing Y" is a silly argument.

I don't know whether this behaviour has always been there ( I tend to an "yes" ), or whether people kind of "invented" it,

but it is defiitively there, every time a match goes 6:0 or so (in Huttball, for example).

I can only imagine that regs have become a mere tool in outfitting new alts.

when I am gearing a new 55 in pvp, I am usually never in a group, and I still win, and I still get geared fine. I cannot speak for your server but for mine I know that premades are like 1 every 10 matches for me at most.
