moman Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 I'm a healer, but got tired of my mando healer and wanted to try something different, so I shelved the Trooper and dusted off my OP, and am using it to heal pvp with. Is DS worth using? Is it even worth specing into? Compared to the other op heals, it seems to heal so little. I'm guessing I'm missing something about it. shyninja Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Diagnostic Scan is a free heal you can spam to your hearts content as well as a important part of energy regen. Its a pretty great way of topping people off and recovering energy when its 50% or so. On my scoundrel I usually do 2x SRMP>KoltoPack> and spam some DS at the beginning of a pull and usually unless the damage is massive, the persons health wont drop. OniGanon Posted May 25, 2014 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Its main purpose is to give you something semi-useful to do while you wait for your energy to regen a bit, helped along by the energy/crit talents if you choose to go for them.
