Most players on PVP servers only play PVE and it is humiliating as some rookie for example operativ with PVP gear waiting for you without any achivment of operation. in the process of doing daily quests. Acquiring equipment PVE with hardmode and nightmare is far more difficult than to farm warzones. I have talked with many people about this, many supports this idea. Even with the whole set of nightmare can not compete with expertise., Do it so that expertise to work only in the warzone plz? What makes a pvp server different from the other servers is that it is pvp oriented and that any time you meet a player in open world, you can kill them, or vice versa, and when you join a pvp server you are given warning that this can happen, which means upon joining a PVP server you consent to that risk. It might be ok to turn off expertise in non pvp areas on PVE SERVERS but on a PVP server PVP GEAR should take precedence in player vs player combat under any and all circumstances. There is no way that in open world pvp on a pvp server that pve gear should take precedence over pvp gear. ever. you have nightmare mode gear, good, that means you are geared enough for nightmare mode ops, pvp gear is not good enough for nightmare mode ops. Which is kind of the point... you said yourself: Acquiring equipment PVE with hardmode and nightmare is far more difficult than to farm warzones. So it shouldn't be that hard to get some pvp gear. I'm going to guess that this thread was inspired by you getting ganked by an operative while doing your dailies. Edit: Also, let me add that anytime I have ever killed anyone in a daily area, some random planet such as Oricon, blackhole, section x whereever it may have been. Mainly Black Hole and Section x, it was because I was already there. I saw them. I attacked them. I either won, or loss. I was in full PVP gear because well, I don't own PVE gear on most of my guys and if I did I really couldn't be bothered to actually change for dailies. Something my PVP gear would easily carry me through. So, this whole myth of people sitting around waiting is just retarded. Not once in the two years have I ever seen people actually sit around and wait for someone to gank. They might go cruising around looking for some pvp. (Rare to see someone flagged on TRE, and if they are flagged, they are asking to be ganked.) Sometimes I'm just mad at a team at solo ranked and vent at helpless people doing dailies. The most fun is when I get to kill 2-3 of them at the same time. But anyway, it's a PvP server, this SHOULD happen. It SHOULD happen all the friggin time! But I have never seen people actually camp and wait. I do a lot of digging in Outlaw's Den. Lot's of Sins, Ops, and Shadows waiting to gank. I don't know why, as it doesn't seem fun. I mean if they would put a damn terminal outside of the area with a "Get 10 kills in Outlaw's Den" daily quest then I'd get it. But otherwise I don't get those peeps.
