Theres one stealth tank, one stealth healer... seems fair

Lets see (since you seem to be void of complex thought),

Tank needs to be in the fray to be effective = check

Tank doesn't really need to worry about positioning = check

Healer needs to worry about positioning = check

Healer (should) need to stay as much out of the fray as possible = check

 

So lets summarize:

For a tank, stealth is a crutch and vastly helps their role in fight = wrong

For a healer, stealth is a crutch and vastly helps their role in a fight = check

Healers can't heal in stealth = Check

Healers can renter stealth one time every 2 minutes = Check

Assassin tanks use stealth to guard nodes = Check

 

It's not a problem for healers to have stealth, yes they can use it to escape, but they can be brought out of stealth again right away if you have any competent players on your team. The sorc bubble of fun is actually better in that regard, since you can be healed in the bubble, while you can't be healed after stealth escaping. I really don't see the problem. Maybe it's because I'm "Void of complex thought".

biggest problems with op healer:

 

1. What developer that isn't mentally challenged would make a STEALTH class also a healer? Can't think of any

2. Never runs out of resources, and hots are too good

3. too many escape tools

 

Underyling issues between healing vs tank vs DPS in this game:

 

1. Full DPS classes (Sniper/Mara) should be able to pressure and kill a healer/guarded target the easiest out of any class no matter the spec. Sniper is above and beyond this, and overpowered atm, Mara is below it (not enough CC resistance/reflect/immunity tools)

 

2. No huge healing debuff abilities in the game. Even if they are low duration and moderate cooldown, something like an ability that costs resources, does no damage, but reduces healing received on the target by 60%+ for 4s would even do wonders.

 

3. No Guard counter, or anti guard ability,. Needs to be one or 2 abilities almost make guard backlash, or make the damaged caused by the one who casted the guard even more penalized.

 

1. Noone should be able to kill one healer alone easily.

Normally there are about 2 healers for 8 ppl. If a healer would die against one, noone would play healer, because you don't get support in warzones from random ppl. And for two ppl I think it is possible to kill a healer, so it is okay.

 

3. You can counter ;-) You need only to know, what to do.. For example kick tank from healer and cc them.... because guard has only a range of 15 metres.

A good operative healer wont run out of energy. A terrible one will run out of energy with no CDs to get it back.

 

OP: Have you ever op healed before? or scoundral if thats how you roll?
