Xolido
Hi So i like the look of a Rifle better then a autocannon as a PvP healer. So is this a bad idea or will i lose heal output ?
Gyronamics
will i lose heal output ? No. You lose damage on the following attacks: Full Auto High Impact Bolts Hammer Shots In addition the following are disabled: Hail of Bolts Charged Bolts All tech attacks do the same damage and heals do no get affected at all. cashogy_reborn
You can get away with it as a healer, but your off-DPS capability gets crippled.
stormdrakelord
One thing they should have done was make the Commando long range rifles, and Vanguard the the cannon user. Whatever.
Talchwi
I was told healing was impacted by not using the Assault Cannon. Since Hammer Shot is used for both attacks and healing, I am incline to believe this to be true.
Bejarid
Since Hammer Shot is used for both attacks and healing, I am incline to believe this to be true. Hammer Shot is the only heal in the Commando's toolkit which is gonna get hurt by not using a cannon, and it's not a super-potent heal, anyway; important, yes, for regen purposes, but not overly powerful on its own. Healing with a rifle should be fine if you're okay giving up some extra damage.

Hammer Shot damage depends on weapon damage, but Hammer Shot healing with Combat Support Cell comes directly from Tech Bonus Healing, which does not depend on weapon damage. Bejarid
Correction: Huh. Shows how much healing I actually do on my Commando, and how much attention I pay to the differences between HS's offensive and defensive outputs while in CSC. Good to know. Adaliaya
In PvP you often have to defend yourself with damage abilities aswell, so for your team, I highly recommend autocannon usage. You wouldn't use singlesaber as Shadow, would you?
