Emthalion Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Hi I only hit 55 on my command last night and got a raid in to DF, I went in as a Assault Specialist (looked up tree and rotation only) before i went in i did a hour on my dummy to how how my dps did( i put on the buff for 20% armour and helth of 1,500,000). When done i was about 1800 dps (got some 78 bit i moved over from a nother alt), but in the raid i got just over what the tank was doing, about 1200, what am i doing wrong any help please. Rotation is ER > AP > HIB > CB > CB > HIB > CB > FA > CB > HIB > Start Again I Also used plasma grenade when TO and RP are off call down I got my helmet and when i went to the vendor i noticed that the 4 part set was more for a Gunnery than Assault specialist am i doing the wrong tree for dps:rak_02: Any hope for a noob please Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is done by going to this website and putting in your gear. By your comment, it appears you are using the old level 50 set bonus, which was more focused towards gunnery spec. The new level 55 set bonus (from grade 69 gear onwards) will provide a boost to High Impact Bolt instead of making it cheaper, which is more for assault spec. After that, the best rotation would be: OPENER Assault Plastique -> Incendiary Round -> High Impact Bolt -> Charged Bolts -> (Proc) High Impact Bolt -> Tech Override + Emergency Powercell + Plasma Grenade -> Charged Bolts -> Charged Bolts -> High Impact Bolt -> Electro Net -> Charged Bolts -> Charged Bolts -> High Impact Bolt -> Unload -> Charged Bolts -> High Impact Bolt, then just use IR when it comes off cooldown, AP when you have a 3x Charged Bolts cooldown, and unload as the first 2 cooldowns whenever. And yeah, Emergency Powercell or Rapid Recharge for use alongside Plasma Grenade. (and sometimes tech override as well). Electro Net can also replace a Charged bolts and should attempt to be used off cooldown, however every 4 second period MUST have 2 of Unload and Charged Bolts in its duration. Plasma grenade has a cast time equal to the GCD, so you are not gaining any overall damage output. I would think you might want to save TO for a movement phase when you want to try to proc HIB again. I also forgot to include adrenal + relic in the rotation above, but it was noted that TO on PG gets an extra tick boosted by the adrenal, making it better to do it that way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
