Underground_Man
Intro/Rules Hello BC residents. My name is Z and I am the guildmaster of Epic. I have agreed to take on the guidance of the BC Progression Thread. I need to recognize those who have come before me, Maris, Zinaire and Arashi, for maintaining this thread and for Magnius for gathering past info. Thank you for your time and dedication. Hoping that by taking over this thread there is more interest and participation by other guilds on this server. I know there is a few guilds out there that have cleared content but have been shy to publicly declare their accomplishments. Here's to hoping we can change that. I have been in groups that have cleared story mode for the first time and groups that have cleared Nightmare content after months of trial and error and the sense of accomplishment from both are equally as important and rewarding depending on the individuals time and experience. Just because you're raid group has been gone all summer, doesn't mean your accomplishments are less important than those who cleared server first. My alts are at the bottom of the page if people have screenshots on their sites that will help catch up their progression. I look forward to having a more clear record of the server's PVE accomplishments. The format will be similar to how we have had it in the past, with a few minor changes: The way completions will be listed will remain the same as before. Ordering top to bottom will be based on post times and general completion of the operation with Empire guilds first then Republic. Here are the new rules for posting new boss kills: Story Mode Operations - When completing a new kill or full clear of a story mode operation, please post your guild name, raid size and difficulty. Hard Mode/Nightmare Operations - When completing a new kill or full clear of a hard/nightmare mode operation, please post your guild name, raid size, difficulty and link to accompanying screenshot proving the kill. This screenshot will need to show the following in order to be acceptable evidence: 1. Screenshot taken while still inside the instance with each raid member's name visible in some form. 2. If Ops Lead, show phase info that details group size and difficulty. 3. If not Ops Lead, show "Achievement Unlocked" which details group size and difficulty of boss kill. 4. Screenshot of boss loot is also acceptable. As you know, in the past we have had some issues arising over the validity of claims of boss kills, and in order to combat that, boss kills will only be accepted that are legitimate. No killing of Dash'rode with two people in 16 man NiM or any such tomfoolery. Also, going forward one person can only be counted in one progression team. This means, killing a boss with one raid group will lock you out from killing a boss with another group. I won't be editing any of the old progression list as it wasn't a clearly stated rule but it does cheapen one group's legitimacy. If a group pulls in 2-3 people from another Ops group in order to first time clear content, it won't counted here but grats on the loot and kill. Whenever we enter a race for server firsts on new content, a world clock showing UTC time will need to be added to the screenshot as well. For it to count as a server first completion, each boss must be cleared in the order they are encountered in the operation. Boss skipping is not progression and will not count towards a server first clear. Firsts must also be cleared by a full guild, it's how every other server tracks progression and we'll be doing the same here. If you have a set raid group of people from a sister guild, please just make a note. If you would like for your guild to be tracked in this thread (and it's not already listed below), please post the guild name, faction and provide a link to the guild website as well. Underground_Man
Going to make a judgement call and say that counts. Heard a Malevolence group killed the Nightmare version of Dread Guards a while ago and hope the strict rules on what counts for proof isn't what kept you guys from posting. Belated grats on the kills and looking forward to more future boss killshots. Now if we could only get the other raiding guilds on the server that has/had been working on progression over the summer...
GeoPirate
Hey, just an update for Shades of the Eternal Void, we cleared 16 HM SV for the first time on 8/31. Screenshot includes the achievement and our group standing over the body. I didn't really position it properly for display or anything though, lol. Will work on that for next time. http://sev.enjin.com/media/m/3809930/detail/108718#pid=1456641 Edited September 10, 2013 by GeoPirate

LinkDaven
So, after a long-*** hiatus from me being in boot camp for two months, Grim Determination finally got back into running progression ops and finished HM Scum and Villainy, 7/7. raidmac
Hit and Run downed NiM kephess!! WOOHOO http://assets.enjin.com/wall_embed_images/1379794884_Screenshot_2013-09-21_14_03_18_962101.jpg Also, I just read the rule about full guild kills, even though they do this on other servers, it should be different here because almost every nightmare kill has not been full guild clears, and this comes from the nature of the low population of our server. Ascension, DWBI, DoA and Hit and Run have made Nightmare clears with people from different guilds. Edited September 21, 2013 by raidmac
emania
Grats guys. that is not an easy fight . And if i remember correctly doomed lemmings had a group listed for ec nim kephess with a similar group makeup, i think it should be listed maybe with a comment about there being players from other guilds or as a raid team. raidmac
Grats guys. that is not an easy fight . Thanks!, luckily I've done this fight before on the harbinger so we had a set strategy. It took us about 8 pulls to down him
rsuhandy
Hit and Run downed NiM kephess!! WOOHOO http://assets.enjin.com/wall_embed_images/1379794884_Screenshot_2013-09-21_14_03_18_962101.jpg Also, I just read the rule about full guild kills, even though they do this on other servers, it should be different here because almost every nightmare kill has not been full guild clears, and this comes from the nature of the low population of our server. Ascension, DWBI, DoA and Hit and Run have made Nightmare clears with people from different guilds. I think the rules are more so that people don't double dip. For instance you can't take people from other progression groups and claim kills, having people from other guilds are fine. I don't see a problem with forming pug raids but posting these kills as progression isn't really legit. For instance Miruriya and Neutrinos even though they have characters in Doomed Lemming don't raid with other Guilds other than DOA, at least for progression. It would be silly and selfish to make them change guilds just to post in a community thread. However I believe I saw a kill of NIM Dread Guards from Hit and Run, this group contained a progression DPS from DWBI and a healer, Kenji, from DOA. Both of those toons are progression toons and while forming the raid and clearing the content is great, claiming it as a Hit and Run clear is a little bit of a faux pas as you wouldn't normally have access to those toons as they would be locked. Just my 2 cents. Edited September 22, 2013 by rsuhandy
LaniAkavir
Ascension, DWBI, DoA and Hit and Run have made Nightmare clears with people from different guilds. With all due respect, the claim you made on DoA having NiM clears with people from different guilds is false. Please take note that DoA and DL are sister guilds, and many of the members' alts are joined in between the two guilds. If we have collaborated content clears, we will state it as Doomed on Arrival raid group clear rather than guild clear. The screenshot here is a perfect example: http://i.imgur.com/s3Up6ZO.jpg Neutrinos is DoA's GM, he just has his sentinel in DL, while Miruriya is also a member of DoA, having his sentinel in DL, as well. Hence the NiM content clear is, in fact, a DoA guild clear. Edited September 22, 2013 by LaniAkavir
