dragonez Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 (edited) I personally like the legacy punches but hate how they work. On top of it all I don't understand why someone can't be armed but still punch I mean they have holsters and it should be used just like any other ability. You activate the ability and your toon just instanly punches while his weapon is holstered but ready in case you need more then your fists. Some of the things this game does is far from logic and you can not only see it with this but look at classes that can use pistols but not rifles or vice Versa. Yet i love it when im playing with classes like the trooper class as an example who can only use rifles yet you see a sidearm on their pant holster during cutscenes but I guess its just a decoration lol. They need to add some depth and common sense to some of the classes. I agree with alot of people about some things not making sense in this game like if a class uses firearms then they should be able to use other firearms or at least more then just one type. An easy way to give players what they want but yet keep the game kind of the same and just add a little more depth too the characters is to allow characters to have one other weapon profilency. Now hear me out and youll understand why it could be an easy change or more like a addition without Bioware having to any big changes and it could be as simple adding something simular to what you see in Mass Effect. Now what i mean is something like what you can do in ME where you can choose one extra bonus power but for SWTOR it would be a choice of one more weapon profiency instead. This could work in many ways and some classes could even take more advantage of the off hand slot by having another weapon profieancy that fills or uses that slot. This would be a great idea since everyone would have the option or choice to unlock and choose one different bonus weapon profienacy for their character but only if they want to and this can even be achieved many ways with it being an legacy unlock as one example or whatever would work best and be easier to do.
