nagatamen Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) I am sure that a fair number of us are aware that the Devs have little to no experience with actually playing an Assassin Tank. As Assassin Tanks do have a learning curve to get decent/good (a harsher curve than other tanks from my experiences and observations) what about a "Play with the Devs" type setup? What I mean is what if some of the higher end guilds "hosted" a few of the Devs on an Operation? Maybe they could see firsthand exactly what Assassins are capable of and where their shortcomings are. Personally I think that some of them playing healers would really show how unforgiving Assassins can be. Seeing as the Devs have played against some people in Arenas, is it possible the Devs would actually do this? Would any guilds/raid teams be willing to "waste" raid time doing this? What roles and/or fights would best exemplify strengths and weaknesses? Edited August 26, 2013 by nagatamen
Prototypemind Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 If they did some of the testing with Sins they would easily see the issues. My understanding from what's been said elsewhere is that they simply don't test with our class much at all, especially for HM/NiM.
Helig Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) Lock them in a room without food - just 16 PCs with SWToR installed, and make them play Assassins in every possible environment -from Operations to Arenas. Worked for the Conclave that took too long to choose the Pope... Edited August 26, 2013 by Helig
