bsbrad Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 It would be nice if we could add friends by their legacy name, they should be able to opt out of this feature for the RPers. This would help you know if a friend from another guild is levelling an alt or on a different faction.

I would definitely like to see a version of it in this game.
CrazyMcGee Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I would absolutely love a legacy/account wide ignore and friend.

My wife and I have the same legacy, but on different accounts.. Groups of people can create a legacy and all be apart of the same legacy.. So.. Your idea would largely not work because of the reason above.. What Bioware needs to do is create a real ID similar to what WOW did.. In WOW's case it was our emails.. That also worked across game, which I thought was neat.. I guess it could be neat to be playing Mass Effect 3 and still be able to talk to my guild mates here.. They could either use our email, or our login name since that has to be unique.. I think ignore should automatically be account wide of the person being ignored.. You ignore someone, it should be against their entire account.. Both factions.. Friends.. I am not sure it should be account wide.. At least not automatically.. I myself like to keep a toon or two private and off the grid so to speak.. It doesn't take much effort to add someone's alts.. Not to mention I feel that we should get permission to add to friends, just as we give it to others.. I don't think it should just automatically friend my entire account or someone else's.. I would also like a way to remove myself from the friends list of others.. Kinda like you do on Facebook.. In either case, at some point they need to rework their friends system.. You can add people when they are offline and no permission required..
