I dont know, if Im alone on this, but doing the same quests again and again to grind reputation is not why I started playing SWTOR. Im sick of this. Anyone got a suggestion what the dev team could change to keep us interested to pay money every month? I have a subscription with two months left and I would like to see more addons like hutt cartell instead of new dailies and reputation grinding.

I would love to see some free space exploring with trades or hunting down pirates and probably even more interesting flashpoints. I know it takes a lot of time to implement something like this, but giving us dailies is the wrong direction. I fear I will leave SWTOR soon, if they dont change that.

Mmm, makes us two...

Yet I need the dailies to gain the credits to buy player crafted gear, I also need the dailies to earn basic commendations to get the good vendor relics. Because I am a mother of 3 children, grouping is very difficult for me, yet I can still enjoy the game very much as a soloer with occassional welcomed grouping, so trying to to flashpoints, operations and the rest are not in the menu of things for me to do to meet my gearing objectives.

So far my immidiate objective is to at least attain level 54 purple modded adaptible gear, to include such level augments. So when the few chances, I may have to participate in raid, I at least are suitably equipped; I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, with regards to how good I do in the raid, but at least I am not a total zero either.

I am begining to understand that such PvE gear to be noticeably inferior to PvP gear, thus it would seem to me, I would need to have two sets of adaptable gear, one for PvE-raid activities, and another for PvP; that is going to cost me a lot of credits, so PvP may not be in my menu of things for the near future. While I have not tried PvP in SWTOR, my experience in so many other games, is that PvP is gear centric, to an extent that if your opponent has entry level gear and you have maxed out PvP gear, you essentially can't lose and skill is mostly irrelevant, because of this I chose not to PvP, I prefer a more chivalrous approach to personal combat where it is a true and unbiased test of skill solely, and not who had the better gear (I win gear). Can anyone tell me, how bad or not it is in SWTOR?

Since I can't see a way out of grinding, I would like to see a bit of relief in it, where you can do your dailies in a personal instance, so you don't find yourself competing against other players for resources demanded by the daily, since they are often too few which invites for hostility, confrontation, and stealing which really detracts from the game, and truly ruins my day. The not so infrequent player rudeness during dailies, is one cause that is begining to accelerate my burning-out of the game, sadly. I like SWTOR, but wish dailies had a choioce to be done in an instance or open world as a form of relief.

It is important that I do make the point, I don't mind doing the grinding if it is towards a specific end, such as proper or best possible PvE gear to do raids, but we are talking of weeks and months to get there, thus burn-out is very possible, and some kind of relief is needed to avoid this and allow players to be done grinding and go to the next level of play.

Things that could help reduce the grinding period are:

1) Increase the credit rewards for completion, some give you 7K other as much as 13K, perhaps if youcomplete the set of soloable dailies per zone, you get an added 50k credits as a bonus, would be nice and very helpful.

2) Instancing the dailies, also allow gatheres to get to boxes and stuff, where normally i find myself going to pre-raped zones, and thus I do all the fighting through all those pointless mobs and have little to nothing to show when I am finally done, but the mission completion bonuses.

3) Daily Zone trophies, i have hundreds of makeb ones with no use to me, and I keep getting them! I already maxed them out, why not let me sell to a reutation vendor for credits or commendations? Say I get one basic commendation per makeb trophy after maxing out the rep? the other trophies would yield the commednation exchanges in accordance to the zone, mostly classic. Would suggest that the trophies themselves be worth say 1,000 credits each (so a stack of 50 is worth 50K).

4) Defeating Boss (gold/silver), Gold, Silver mobs should give reputation and have a chance to drop a commendation for the apropriate class for the zone, ergo basic for makeb. A silver shjould have a 50% chance, a Gold should have a 75%, and the boss (gold/silver) would be 100%

Some ideas...
