LordxVindican Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 The Battlemaster sets, on the Imp side, are by far my favorite PvP gear. But, after they became craft-able, mods aren't included anymore. Most players work hard to get to valor 60, mainly because of the insane lag of WZ's, but why even require a valor level if you have to use a ridiculously large amount of currency to buy the gear, then more to get mods for it? All I'm saying is, if certain gear requires a valor level, it needs mods. Otherwise, you might as well just hand out crafted Battlemaster sets to every single player on swtor.
mike_is_valid Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 mmh, what is your point? The gear progression in PVP is partisan/conqueror now, which you get by playing the game earning your comms and take them to the vendor. You don't spend a dime. Battlemaster set were removed and don't play any role in this game anymore. If you like those for cosmetical reasons then it is only your decision to acquirem them and pay for. You are not forced to do anything.
Kegparty Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 This thread should be in the roleplay section. It contains no QQ about abilities or PVP just a wearing clothes requirement linked to valor. Honestly if you post it in the Roleplay section they will probably read it.
gblXsw Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 With the abundance of adaptive gear that has become available through the Cartel Market, you can make your level 1 character look like a battle-hardened Sith Lord fresh of the transport shuttle. So I think it'd be fair if they removed the valor requirement and let people just look the way they want to look. I don't think I can agree with that. I think it's fair if there is gear which only the people can wear who've worked hard for it - especially since there are plenty of other more or less cool looking shells easily available for those who don't want to put the same effort in.
