CJNJ Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 So pretty much for several specs the devs use the executes as a crutch for saying their dps is on par with the other classes(most recent being PT Pyro/VG Assault's burnout talent, which is more burn damage for the last 30%. Seeing as plenty of specs use talents like these why not make a dummy to show where these classes are? Add a new dummy with 1.1 million HP on it, meaning that you would need 3667 dps to kill it in 5 minutes, and parses in full KD would probably be at most 6 minutes. Any thoughts?

Ah yeah forgot about that one, just something that will simulate a raid situation in everything except movement and inspiration(as that's a sent only buff) so we can see if there really is 5% between the classes and if the diff between combat and focus is actually 4% like they said.

mikebevo Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I would just be happy if they made the dummy on my ship level appropriate (not a huge deal, but it would be nice). It would also be nice to have more run behind it since some classes have to be behind the target to actually practice.
Arch_Angel_Gabe Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Signed - Create an operations dummy that has 1.2 million health and respawns after 15 seconds on your personal ship. This way we don't have to hear dev excuses of why one spec might trail behind another on the dummy. When new content is released and characters are generally stronger, increase the health of this dummy to line it up according to the new operation dps requirements.
