dwbryant Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 I was wondering if when you unlock the kingpin on a shared world why does in not unlock for both Republic and empire as it gives the achievements based on both. I have almost unlocked all on Republic but still need the Empire only kingpins left. Am I missing something or are we having to do it twice?
kharathos Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 It unlocks the Kingpin mission for that character only regardless if the kingpin mission is based on a shared world. This Bounty Week was always going to need a pub and imp toon as some of the planets involved are faction only (Ord Mantell/Coruscant for Pubs, Hutta/Dromund Kaas for Imps). If you want to ask why, well one answer would be that the first time you do the kingpin on a planet (Say with your main), you can kill the kingpin and the next day when it resets, you can then carbonite him if you care about getting the achievements for the Bounty Contract week. This process frees up your alts to not only do their own kingpin but more importantly your main does not need to acquire 5 contracts to do that planet again as you have already unlocked the kingpin mission. Once it resets, away you go.
