ADemoiselle Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 So I've completely confused myself over how unlocking different species works XD Since on the CC screen it said I needed a character at level 10 and an unlocked legacy, I assumed that if I rolled a Twilek and leveled them up to level 10, I'd have unlocked it across all classes but clearly I was wrong. Does the level 10 thing mean that you have to have a character at level 10 with an unlockedd legacy to unlock extra species in anyway, even if bought with CC? Also, by unlocked legacy, does that mean I have to have unlocked the ability to choose a Legacy name or do I actually have to have chosen one?

Yes, you have to actually have a lvl 10 character and unlocked/chosen a legacy name. Then you have a few options to unlock the different races, either purchase the individual or the diversity unlocks with CC from the Cartel Menu, I believe (haven't checked myself) you can purchase the Cartel Menu unlocks for credits from other players that posted them on the GTN, or level one of that race to lvl 50 in which case it will be unlocked for free. Be aware, I've never experienced it or seen any notice of it. But if you level a single character to level 10, choose a legacy name, and unlock a different race ... if you delete that character to try and remake them as the new race you MAY have lost that unlock as deleting your only character will delete your legacy as well. Best to just remake the character and delete the original at a later time to be on the safe side.
JacksonMo Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 this is only slightly off topic, but if you're going to be buying racial unlocks, I highly recommend the human one for it's +100 presence bonus.
