Gorastor Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Hey folks, my Scoundrel just got 55 (yay ). I maxed both ranked and unranked commendations. I would love to play Dirty Fighting or Scrapper... is it even slightly fun in random PvP (since my gear will be bad, because I can't afford everything) ? Or should I directly go for Sawbones, be a productive member of the warzone group and maybe get DD gear later on? So which set do you recommend? And which parts should i get first? Thanks in advance!
Wainamoinen Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Bit of a late reply, for which apologies. Scrapper gear is listed as "Enforcer", but it's horribly itemised and the set bonus is a bad joke. Get the Field Tech/Professional 2-Piece bonus, probably combined with Enforcer 2-piece bnus for want of anything better. Get orange gear, augment it with Cunning augs, and switch mods into it. No point augmenting partisan gear that you need to trade in. Also, given that in patch 2.4 (early October) PArtisan gear is going away, a new top tier ("Obroan") is coming in and Conq will be purchasable with normal wz comms, I'd say don't buy any conq gear at all unless you're max comms, but save them for when Obroan arrives. then you can buy Conq with normal comms and use the ranked for Obroan gear. I'd say get the set pieces where you can get a lot of Power first (Enf belt, bracers; can't remember past that). Then worry about what level of Crit or Alacrity you want to hit after you have a full PvP set to tweak the other stats.
