Jamalzero Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Due to the concealment class being primarily about stabbing and cutting i think it would be kind of cool if the "Vibroknife" were an optional main hand weapon for the Operative class. All the animations would change of course for the long distance attacks (e.g. rifle shot would be now called knife toss) i think knife toss would be animated like where you literally throw knives thus making an already STEALTH CLASS that much more stealthy (and snipe could be Aimed knife throw). It would bring an all new prospective to the Concealment operative and make that class more deadly due to its new silence factor. You can't gang up on what you cant hear lol You'd literally have to be within sight to know a concealment Operative is attacking an ally of yours or 10m to hear the slicing and stabbing lol For scoundrels i would suggest a brawlers glove kind of like brass knuckles WHICH I CAN TOTALLY SEE A SCOUNDREL USING. and all of their distance attacks can be used with their shotgun and if anyone says bulls*** i call it back right on you because throughout the game companions (KALIYO) and other NPCs use shotguns at 30m so i can totally see that being utilized and thus making the scoundrel class more stealthy with their melee abilities as well.

If you made the "Vibroknife" / "Brawler Glove" an optional weapon for the Operative / Scoundrel class and keep what they have now but once they put the glove/knife as their mainhand weapons they are restricted to only melee attacks that could work. Of course the basic attack would change to Cut or Slice / 1-2 Punch or Jab. I know certain distance abilities would change (e.g: snipe would be Aimed knife throw/Aimed coin throw or something to that effect so scoundrels would have a distance attack) but the way I'm thinking is this could be a really cool installment so that the two classes now have a weapon preference system whether it be: all melee, ranged with some melee, all range, or heals. Adding a melee weapon would improve some of the stealthiness thats SUPPOSED to me with that class. because most players can hear blaster fire at a distance which would alert them in a PvP setting and being that silent would definitely make the class more of a threat.
