MrGoldsilver Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 So I was pvping today (server: harbinger), it was voidstar i believe, and I saw a Mara sitting in the back of the room, not doing anything... So I thought " great a camper who gets a metal then goes afk " I right click on his icon, to see if I could report him, and I see "initiate vote kick" or something like that... Not that it's a bad thing or anything, but when was this added? Or was I just dreaming? (I believe he was kicked from the WZ)

It's not your traditional "vote to kick" however, it acts as an afk-check. After the kick has been initiated, if the player doesn't join combat in a certain amount of time, they will be kicked from the warzone.
ManiacDavis Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 It was added around 1.3-1.6 don't know the exact patch.

FrogSkin Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Its completely useless and poorly implemented. The reason being is those that sit in the corners and do nothing will then engage in combat for a second and then go back to sitting in the corner. Which resets the vote to kick and they waste your time and take up a space in the team. Whoever designed it for WarZones really didn't engaged their brain when they did it.
