Divona Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 (edited) Ok i make it brief. It is second day to do bounty missions so i decided to unlock new kingpin mission on my SECOND character not on same as day before. But i thought its neat idea to unlock both Hench mission and Kingpin on same planet. Oh boy was i wrong doing that. As soon i started to learning my Alderaan Kingpin mission (i already had Alderaan hench mission) i saw something odd happened. My kingpin mission item i traded was lost and i was empty handed only with Alderaan hench mission in my trackings. Edit. It seems issue is having 2 mission on same planet. My kingpin mission item i traded was lost and i was empty handed only with Alderaan hench mission in my trackings. I dont know what was Bioware intention with this, but i effectively lost todays group Kingpin mission and 5 bounty contracts due to this error. I also made ticket about this. Bioware i would like an explanation about this. If player is not suppose to have both Hench and Kingpin mission on same planet, then inspecting Kingpin item should indicate i cant learn it until i have finished hench and not to loose item completely! If I understand it right you can't run a kingpin mission on a planet if you've already taken the henchman mission for said planet. But I think if you abandon that mission you'd then be able to take the Kingpin one from the terminal. It might also work if you just complete that henchman mission but not sure.
TheNahash Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 (edited) All Kingpin bounty items disappear after you use them. You then have to pick up the quest from the terminal (the same one you pick up the normal bounties) If you already have a Hench bounty, abandon it. The terminal should now have the Kingpin one. Thanks for this update. It seems you can only have one active mission for same planet. Im so glad you cleared this up.
Aries_cz Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Inability to run Kingpin and Henchmen contract on same planet is not a bug, it is a feature
KurganNazzir Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Well, you can run them on the same planet, just not at the same time. You have to do one, turn it in at Fleet, pick up the other, fly back and do it, then return to Fleet. Just another time and money waster BioWare put in.
SlimsPicken Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 yes going to fleet, picking up the one hench mission, going to planet, doing mission, then going back to fleet, handing in hench mission, picking up kingpin mission, going back to planet, doing kingpin mission, then going back to fleet, turning in kingpin mission... is stupid. FFS I wouldnt mind getting some enjoyment out of events after i work a 10 hour day and have 3 hours tops to play at night Id prefer 1.5 of those hours not be travel to/from.. devs are aliens with no concept of real world time. MMOs seem to encourage humans to become worthless neckbeards who sit in front of a computer for 10 hours a day instead of it being a fun little pasttime and not completely dominating every moment of free time in your life.

Pretty much this ^ The mobs might not kill you but the loading screens sure will.
