_biddan_ Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) i want to know how many swtor players play D&D. my character was a lvl 15 sorcerer/fighter arcane archer wild elf, his greatest accomplishments were killing the final boss of the campaign and becoming the leader of his order of arcane archers. for the next campaign i'm planning to use a spiked chain fighter with a charging build (lot's of attacks after a charge and lots of cleave). Lionflash Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I haven't played in 6 months (played for almost 10 years since highschool). Just recently I found a new D&D group in my city. The last thing I did D&D wise, I was the DM. If I try to remember my last character... ...I think it was also an archer. Ranger 2, Monk 2, Fighter 4, Bowman 3? (Prestige Class from the campaign book we had). Good times.
Tatile Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Tibbet Rogue. Also a somewhat cynical atheist. Managed to get the cleric embroiled in a theological discussion and he lost his powers Not very imaginative, but I like turning into a cat. That campaign didn't really go anywhere for some reason, then we tried Don't Rest Your Head, and have settled on Pokemon Tabletop Ultimate (fan made), with a 1950s America noir-style gangster setting. I must say, trying to commit arson when all your Charmeleon does is help you bake muffins, is surprisingly hard.
Beranzen Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) A damn near chaotic-evil barbarian Weimic (this was like in '95 or '96 for a pen/paper game) The DM would have me randomly attacking and occasionally eating various NPC members of the party when they were alone. Along with certain players who annoyed him during the game. Can't remember his level but he had a nice powerful battleaxe that created a globe of pitch black darkness around it when in use, while he could see everything fine. Various magical decorations in his mane, along with tribal tats that served as armor. The DM thought up that a shaman could have enchanted them making it so. If I remember right he was honor bound to protect some members of the party, just not all of them. Edited August 14, 2013 by Beranzen A spelling DOH!
Twickers Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) I'm playing a Chaotic neutral Tiefling witch who specializes in crowd control and healing, must say it's rather fun being able to CC well over half the bad guys in a fight and make my GM pull his hair out . She's also interesting because in her backstory her mother was killed, but there's been evidence found proving that she actually wasn't, gotta play more of the game to find out why she isn't dead Edited August 14, 2013 by Twickers
Jesskun Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I haven't played in about two years. The last time I played was with my Dwarvish Invoker(4E). I played him as a religious zealot, reborn from nearly drowning as a youngin'. He was fun but I just lost interest in tabletops...
_biddan_ Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 i changed my mind i'm just going to make a chaotic good frenzied berserker with a falchion.
AlrikFassbauer Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I play DDO, too. Apart from that, I only once participated in an small 4th edition explanation session (only me and an professional player).
Irongut Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 The last game of AD&D I was involved with I was the DM, running an all dwarf campaign in a game world designed by myself and my flat mates. This was back in the late 90s so 2nd Edition rules. The last character I played was around the same time - Harald Irongut, an evil dwarf fighter from Icewind Dale in the Forgotten Realms who had a habit of killing party members in their sleep, especially if they were some kind of elf or half elf mage. His biggest claims to fame were replacing the King of Cormyr with our party leader, befriending Elminster, killing a god during the Time of Troubles and brewing the strongest beer in Faerûn.
_biddan_ Posted August 17, 2013 Author Posted August 17, 2013 (edited) i know i know, i change mind too often, i'm going to make a wizard, eeeeh i hope i won't change my mind again in the next 2 weeks before the first session of my new campaign. Edited August 18, 2013 by _biddan_
