Exactly. Took the Voss contract for a reason. And even when someone else talked to a Shady Character first I found them to respawn rather quickly actually. They should have made these in a neutral PVP zone, faction vs faction free-for-all, no grouping. I'd be takin' out all you mothers and gettin' my prize. Seems like a Bounty Hunter would be more likely to kill his competition then take a number and wait in line. You want my money, put out quality events and not piss poor ones like czerka daily and this failed bounty event. I'm not even gonna support f2p cause I've been gaming too long to wait with dozens of others for something to respawn. The game was fun though, too bad you guys didn't think this out. Many more Shady characters, or let everyone use Shady characters without them needing to respawn between uses. Thank you for NOT making it PvP based tho. Just can't get those stupid shady characters when there are 15 people standing around (all with comps, too). Maybe they'll adjust before next month's event? Not surprising I suppose, but it is a shame they didn't foresee this happening. I personally am loving this event, and it is a shame to see people not . . . So, going to a different planet helped for me, but this is not a solution. We should be able to do any of the contracts, as we see fit. Given the outcry, I am pretty sure this will be fixed, if not this week then certainly by next month. Well, to be fair, players gave that feedback on the PTS already and the devs apparently didn't do much about it. I am also sure that they'll fix this in one way or another, but no one can claim that this issue is a surprise. I will avoid the lower level planets until the next event in October when it hopefully comes back with improvements and have smooth contract runs in the meantime on Voss, Alderaan etc. Problem solved for me for now. There is no community sense or value in this game. People would rather run around and fight over things instead of grouping or teaming to get the objective. This is why you have so much resource and quest node ninja'ing/stealing on the main planets in the starting areas. I can slightly understand it and it doesn't bother me as much on Empire side since by default the Sith are always trying to screw one another over, but that aside, it's a very annoying aspect of SWTOR. WoW is going the same direction but in the old days of WOW and other MMOs like City of Heroes, what made them so enjoyable was the community feeling on each game and server. SWTOR doesn't have that.
