L-RANDLE Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Can someone give me a link or explain to me what min/max mean for gear in pvp? All I do is pvp and want to be able to not get killed easy Thank you As it relates to this game, it means using mods/enhancements/armoring to maximize output. Typically in PvP, when looking at two same tier item modifications, say both are level 63, you would prefer the one that has power as a secondary stat versus acurracy. The reasons why is somewhat dependent on AC, and item level, but the basis of min/max is to get "good" stats like power and absorb, versus "bad" stats like accuracy and defense. If you want a more in-depth responses, name your AC, level, and current gear setup.
JayPaulc Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 I have a lvl 55 guard. that is Vigiliance spec. just hit lvl 55 not to long ago and I was looking at the pvp gear.. the noobie pvp gear sucks to what i have on now just without the expertise. Was wondering how should I gear him.. I use +power mostly not crit.

If you are wearing PvE gear make sure your expertise is over 1800 in a WZ I think thats pretty much the breakline between ok and bantha poo. Get either one relic, and a matrix cube or two relics. This should push your EXP to around 1850-1900. Then you an tinker with a few CONQ pieces. Just make sure, whatever to do, augment everything with blue/purp 55. The biggest gap is between the haves and the have nots in this area...
