Yndras Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) Hello and Welcome! If you are reading this then you are interested in joining the Harbinger Ranked PvP League, or HRPL. The format for this competition is simple. Teams will have until the 26th of August 2013 to register their interest. Individuals are also welcome to register to be placed into a team and cut off for this application is the 22nd of August. Grading matches for these individuals will be held on the 23rd of August starting at 8PM PDT(3AM GMT/2PM AEST). From here you will be notified and placed into a newly formed League team based on a ranking which you will not be made aware of. League Teams will be evenly balanced using these rankings.**(Guild teams are not subjected to balancing - there was some confusion around this) The league will be running for approximately 8 weeks beginning on the 30th of August 2013 with the first round starting at 8PM PDT(3AM GMT/2PM AEST). Play-off games will be a best of 3 series and will run for a further 2 weeks(Length will depend on the number of teams we have in the league). Formats for these finals will be 7 man teams, with two officials (one each team) and the games will be broadcast for people to watch. Teams will play in a round robin format with a total of at least 3 games per week. All of which will be starting at the above times. The Draw will be published each week on the official swtor.com forums. Results will be tallied and kept with the leader boards displayed and updated on the HRPL results thread. Rules of the league are as follows, 1.) No gloating or public callouts to other teams, members or individuals. Team leaders are responsible for their members’ actions. 2.) No Trash talk during or after the matches. 3.) Guild Teams can change their composition and members as they please. 4.) League created teams will have the option to rotate players if people cannot make it. Subs and guild replacements will be accepted if normal roster members are unavailable. 5.) Disconnections are the responsibility of the team. If you have a member disconnect, then the result or outcome of that game will stand. There will be no rematches. 6.) Abuse of any officials or organisers will not be tolerated. Officials will be nominated to help organise/queue the games and record results. Playoff games will consist of 7 member teams with 1 official in each team. Officials are not to be attacked during these matches and will be in stealth. 7.) Failure to show for your matches will result in forfeiting the match, and the other team will be credited the win. 8.) Refusing to queue against your opponent is against the spirit of the competition and will not be tolerated. 9.) Win trading will not be tolerated as it is against the spirit of competition. Failure to adhere to the above rules could result in being removed from the competition. Any questions relating to the league or clarification of rules or format, suggestions or offers for help please post in the below thread. http://www.swtor.com/community/showt...38#post6636038 To register your team, or to register as an individual(Free Agent), please reply to this thread using the format listed. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=669250 APAC PVP Players. <Synthesis> an AUS PVP guild is recruiting member for inhouse matches and core team members.
