Jadescythe Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 To those here that say a premade team that plays together all the dam time over a random group doesnt have an advantage is lost in the sauce for real, thats like saying the basketball team with players who play together against a pick up squad of 5 is even its not. Another thing is bolster needs to be taken off of LVL 55 if you can bust your behind to get to that level you can bust your behind to upgrade your gear too, it makes no sense for a player whose upgraded to have his or her gear negated because someone didnt feel like grinding. A random que is suppose to be OMG WAIT FOR IT - RANDOM, you wanna do premade with your squad you play with go to Ranked with no Bolster and we will see whats really good. Its funny how quick wanna call someone a scrub when they stacked the dam deck then wanna act like you didnt knowing dam well you did. I won't go so far as to call you a scrub, but min/maxed partisan is better than anything other than min/maxed conqueror. So you do not, in fact, know what you're talking about based on this post. If you like random so much, you shouldn't have a problem with this. Its like saying nothing is wrong with removing a 7, after you get your point. Most Casinos will laugh at you... Feztonio Posted August 6, 2013 Share Posted August 6, 2013 the whole reason a premade is better than a pug is the voice chat. being able to speak to teammates real-time and coordinate is lightyears ahead of having to stand still while your toon is getting pounded on so you can type in chat that "need more snow" or "4 incoming mid". having voice is a large advantage. is it possible to pug over a premade with their vent.. yes of course. but the 2 teams are not starting out equal. one team has an advantage to begin and that continues the entire WZ. so not only does the pug have to play the wz but they have to really shine to overcome the disadvantage. the easiest way to make it even would be for SWTOR to add a voice chat function for groups both pve and pvp. then any team or op that wishes to voice chat would be able to do so. I currently have vent, mumble and TS all downloaded onto my PC so whenever I pug I can join the inevitable voice chat channel. by just having on in-game everyone would be on the same page and a lot of the complaints about pugging vs premade would go away. When you go to the park to play pick up games by yourself and lose to a group of 5 friends who's fault is that? It is the fault of the dude who decides I'm going to be MJ and dunk on everyone, but then get's dunked on himself. Are you going to then say "look if you have your own group of 5 go play in the NBA?" Does this also mean that the group of 5 will be guaranteed the win? OMG WAIT FOR IT - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Also it is random because no one knows who they will be grouped with. UncelSam Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 The unbalance that premades brings into pvp is the major reason for ppl to quit the WZs We all hoped for update 2.4 would pull the premades to the arenasm but it seems the arenas failed.
