OldSpiceSwag
has anyone else been experiencing lag ONLY in wzs since 2.2.2? its not even the whole warzone, but as soon as i get near a player and start beating on him/her my ping jumps up. it doesnt freeze my game or increase exponentially like when i have a true internet issue, but only increases from like 20 to 80-170. as soon as i die and rez the lag goes away and i gain fps again. anyone else having this issue? Monterone
Yes, highly contested nodes turn into a slideshow. Sometimes it's hard to discern which direction the attacks are even coming from, then you die and it all goes back to normal until you get people on your screen again. There also seems to be a new and very serious memory leak, forcing me to restart my game every 3-4 warzones, when I used to be able to play for MANY hours without having to relog. This is how it is now, I load up the game, do the first wz and it's smooth. The second one starts slowing down. The third one is pretty bad and I start getting 5-10 fps at times in big groups. By the time I load up the 4th warzone, it's choppy as all hell and the game uses about 2-3 more gigs of ram and I'm forced to close the client and start over. Not very fun, and I blame it entirely on poor coding. Edited July 11, 2013 by Monterone

Azarai
Get a new rig and upgrade your internet to fiber optics at the highest data amount possible. That's what BW's fix will be, but trust me when I say it still doesn't help
kweassa
Getting a spec that can run a program smoothly, has been part of computer gaming since the 1990's when Origin started producing state-of-the-art games requiring latest technologies. If you can't roll a game, turn your settings down. If that still doesn't help, upgrade your computer. It's due prior investment. Get with the times, dudes, and stop blaming the developers for what is clearly fault on your own end.

Also have you tried repairing client or updating your drivers? Or what could be the case is that there is something in your pc that has stopped working optimally. I think the dude used the word dude to excess in order to sort of mock the dude above him for the dude's use of the word dude, dude.
OldSpiceSwag
repairing worked on the fleet and in the starting area and for about 20s in the main fight, but after that it went straight back to lagging. thanks for the suggestion, still wondering if anyone else is having this problem

Denyantras
I just did several in a row and never ran into any framerate issues or lag. I wonder what it could possibly be
Joesixxpack
I got new lag starting after the patch. Did all the usual trouble-shooting on my end, still there. It's not play-breaking but is pervasive if you know what I mean. I ran high custom settings prior without issue.
