Must pvp wait over 12 months for updates?

Seriously Bioware? It's been over 12 months since Pre-Season 1 was kicked in to gear, we have had no new maps, more bugs created, classes suffering broken abilities for months(Since 1.4 for Assassin/Shadow) , the Q-issues, the nerfing of XP,xcoms, low levels of cash - the list goes on.

Now, we have to wait until 2.4 just for some 'PvP love'?! You crazy? I hardly PvE because its boring and despite the server transfers it really hasnt mixed things up,. It's time for a break and give PvP some love BEFORE 2.4

You can kick and scream all you want but the reality is that bioware just does not care about this game anymore. They are going to milk the cartel market as long as possible until this game dies, which is not very far off.

This is what some people said when they released their F2P model. Unfortunately for them, the game is still alive. No doompreaching ok?

Anyway, aren't they going to release pvp content in august or something? I hope so. PVErs have enough love imo.

Tis true. They are even re-hashing the same old vehicles and armour, and giving it a different colour!

Ya it's alive and on life support. It took transfers to save the ranked scene but at the same time thanks to transfers the pvp on the server I was on is all but dead pretty much forcing me to move to pot5 which sucks in some ways as I don't know anyone so I'm stuck pugging till I find a guild and omg the imp pugs on that server make the pugs on my old server look like pros. But I guess I cant complain too much. At least the queue's actually pop practically all hours of the day.

I think Bioware cares, the problem is that they're incompetent and EA has them on a mandate of prioritizing the market as much as possible instead of fixing the game. As evident of stuff like the pocket sarlacc, which obviously a good deal of work went into given the animations and graphic.

Unfortunately, simply caring and being Star Wars are not worth my money anymore. TOR may have better pvp mechanically, but I'll take WoW's reliability, being far less buggy, much better engine and actual world pvp.

What annoys me more is that they were coy about that, teasing us about October and apparently oblivious that it would annoy a lot of people. They don't even realize people aren't satisfied their pvp updates which should be pretty explicit at this point considering how little they've done. Believe it or not some ppl don't like doing pve, no matter how many flavors of the same OP you choose to release as new content.

It seems every MMO has people claiming that said MMO is totally going to die and that the company owning it is really focusing on a future game. Is it correct? Well partially, nothing lasts forever and we can of course speculate how long individual games will last.

Not sure why PvP is being neglected, it is one of the main endgame activities and definitely worth focusing on. Plus, unlike PvE which is practically dependant on new batches of content being released again and again, PvPers essentially generate their own content and dont need that much love.

It's very frustrating. We basically bought an expansion and have to wait until the end of it to see our content. We didn't even get the courtesy of a reach around of new valor ranks. New valor ranks would take all of a lunch break to code in. It's a shame because the pvp here is great mechanically, the maps are fantastic, and the balance is surprisingly near perfect for an MMO. The problem is, we aren't ever seeing any content.
