The web site says available online in north America, but none of the .ca sites carry this (bestbuy.ca, amazon.ca) if you try and buy it from the .com site - if you can get past the credit card /address in Canada thing - they will error telling you "game downloads" are not available for non US residents.

EA is based out of Vancouver BC Canada. Bioware started and still exists in Edmonton AB Canada. *FAIL*

That would be a fail on Canada's part...EA and Bioware have NO say in how Canada handles game downloads or in this case forbids game downloads. It's people like you that cry when Canada, or a specific

US state, or another entire country is told they are ineligible for a sweepstakes or giveaway. It's not the company holding the events call, it's because of the LAWS of whatever place is being excluded.

Do some research since you seem to be the "fail" here.

Are you sure that the true fail here isn't you necro-ing a post from 6 weeks ago just to tell off another poster (and Canada)?

Nope the true fail is still people that blame companies for **** that is actually the result of the laws and regulations of the places they choose to live instead of doing 30 seconds of research.

Idiot. (just editing to clarify I mean Monkeyface)

It has nothing to do with Canadian Laws. It has to do with EA/Bioware not working with these vendors to ensure these cartel coin codes are not classified as Video games. Laws do prohibit the purchase of digital games from a .com site if you not located in the USA.

So Bioware can do 1 of 2 things. Work with the companies to make sure these are available on their international stores (.ca's etc...) or help them classify them correctly so people out side the country are not blocked from purchasing "Digital games" when all it is is a code for a game.

Eitherway they are both (EA and Bioware) Canadian companies and the fact that they claim "north America" but forgot to check their own back yard is pure Fail.
