Gloomycakes Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) You'll get a certain % chance to get the recipe of what-ever you're reverse enginering (I think it's 10% for 72 gear) so it's always a gamble. It will show the chance by hovering over it. If you reverse the weapon rather than the barrel you get a chance to get the weapon's skin (if that's possible.) and thus wasting all mods in it, including the barrel. SweetsPatogga Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 As Gloomycakes said, you want to take the barrel out of the weapon and RE that, but yes if you do that you have a chance to learn the schematic for the barrel. But just a chance. It's not guaranteed and the odds are against you learning it on the first try so make sure you are really okay with that.
