It's easy enough to outlevel planets as it is before you can finish many of the quests.

 

We know that, we know leveling is ok in swtor.

I'm leveling my 16 toon to 55... In 4th July I couldn't level up because I was enjoying the day with my family, as many of us.

1 more DAY won't kill anybody, won't screw up the game for anybody.

I would like to see them do two things....

1) Have a double XP weekend every other weekend

 

The popularity of the double XP weekend is obvious. I love it personally. It would be great to see it every other weekend.

 

2) Offer a consumable 50 percent XP debuff similar to the XP boosts for sale now

 

This would allow folks that do not want to be effected by double XP to get it returned to normal. It would also give min/max folks a way to lengthen the leveling process in the normal game and prevent quick leveling if they wish.

I've leveled a SI and SW to 55 during the 3 weekends and have an Agent at 26 now (I already had a 55 BH) so another weekend would be great please BW!

 

*But not until next month I'm burnt out now :p If you wanna do one a month though that would be great!

If it was every weekend I would stay subscribed to play the weekends swtor and play other MMO the rest of the week!

I know is not hard to level in swtor, but there are MMO players out there that being doing level up the last 10+ years.

 

The benefit of the double xp for me is that I can focus more on main story quest and do little to none side quests. Without the double xp, the story feels disconected...until I go to the next step of the story I forgot what I did until then :) I think they could make it like lotro, where you can skip main story until lately and do it all at once. But in swtor everything is tied with the main story...companions, ship, side quests...

 

Anyway, in discussion I had with my friends they are in the same boat as me...what we love to do in swtor, is leveling characters, experience the different class stories...we all have 8+ characters at 10-20-30 level bracket. Double xp is awesome for us, because side quests are boring to do and we already know the planet stories of side quests...

extend the Double XP one more day! c'mon! you know you wanna!

I do not care for another day of double exp or not, but keep your hands away from my CCs. I fund all my cartel market purchases by free cartel coins, so they are to me a lot more valuable than some little exp boost.

Perhaps doing it once a month would work then. Either way I think it should be a regular event with a consumable XP debuff item to counter the double XP for those folks that do not want to participate but still want to play.

 

I think it's a great unique Bioware item they can lay claim to...I may be wrong, but usually this is done by reducing the amount of XP required for levels....this XP boost is unique as far as I can tell.

 

And it's great IMO.

At the very least, I'd like to see them extend the double XP shutoff time up to the time the daily timers reset rather than shutting off at midnight PDT.

 

Since that's the time cycle that the game seems to live on, it feels a little arbitrary to have timed events end at other times.

I'd like to see this happen for other events, too.

/signed !! I think players should have choices, and certainly have the right to ask :D

 

However, the realist steps in and knows it won't happen again for awhile. That's ok though. I did have some fun this weekend. Only got to play 8 hours total, but it was worth it.

Really they should make it a legacy perk similar to the other experience boosts... just require a bit higher legacy level and more credits per character. I'd dump a million credits per character into a credit drain if I could have double experience on them always.

Whilst double XP weekends from time to time are a nice bonus, I don't think they should be a common occurance. Why? Well, you level too quickly and in turn miss a tonne of the intended content for that level bracket. I found myself (having rolled a new character) being forced to stop myself playing as I was outlevelling everything (including my class quests) making it not really an enjoyable experience.

Well this weekend was extended an extra day so chances are they aren't flipping that switch, but I wouldn't mind seeing Double XP regularly available through some form in the CM. A 24/48 hour 100% buff or just the option to buy into Double XP weekends every week would be nice.

If spending time your family is a "have to," you have bigger issues that not have enough time to goof around in in a computer game.

 

You'd say anything to take up for BioWare wouldn't you? And yes spending time with my wife and kids, my dad and sister over the holiday was required for me, would of been rude for me to start playing a game, how is that an issue? I love them, why would spending time with them be an issue of any kind?

 

You make little to no sense in most of your "BioWare defense" posts.

 

All I did say was another day wouldn't hurt, and here you stroll in and say I have issues for wanting to spend time with my family. Maybe its you who has issues not I.
