I have tried running hardmode flashpoints or daily's on section X, but i get my ***** kicked in everytime, people are telling me that it's my gear thats underlvled and i need to upgrade it, or get endgam.e gear so i was wondering how i should go about doing this. Any help will be much appreciated thanks. First, don't jump into hardmodes. Good way to get vote-kicked and do nothing but rack up a repair bill. Run regular 50 FP's, as well as the dailies on Ilum, Belsavis, and Black Hole. If you run these dailies for about 2-3 days you will be mostly modded to start dabbling in the lvl 50 hm FP's and classic Ops. Rinse and repeat until you feel like hurling your monitor through a window. That's a simplified starting suggestion. 2-3 days of that, then try Sec X. cabled Posted July 3, 2013 Share Posted July 3, 2013 Belsavis series drops classic comms. depending on how bad your gear is.... if i were you though, i'd probably run normal level 50 fps for the gear drops and do makeb dailies for the daily comms. the normal level 50 fp drops are decent as a starting point and picking up relics/mainhand with daily commendations should push you just enough to start 55hm fps. what role are you? tank/dps/heals? could offer something more specific with that information Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Based on the Dulfy guide, I should get tthe classic comms first, gear up, then move on to basic comms right? Right now I'm using mods from the Makeb vendor. Right now I'm using mods from the Makeb vendor. The mods from the Makeb vendor are only 1 tier under the classic commendations. Due to the pathetic stat distrubition on campaign gear it won't be that much better if at all, except it comes with a set-bonus, which is heaven send. Basic Commendations give gear quite a bit better than Classics (once again with poor stat-distribution) and 150 for an Arkanian Relic, they're pretty sweet to have. It doesn't come with a set-bonus though. From there on you move on top HM FPs/SM Operations for Black Market/Arkanian gear. The order: Planetary Commendations - The old Rakata (58) Classic Commendations - Campaign Gear (61, Setbonus) / Level 50 Hard Mode FPs- Black Hole Gear (61, no setbonus) Hard Mode Classic Operations - Hazmat (63, no setbonus) / Dread Guard (63, Setbonus) Basic Commendations - Basic Gear (66, no setbonus) Elite Commendations / HM FPs drops - Black Market (69, no setbonus) Story Mode Operations - Arkanian (69, setbonus) Ultimate Commendations - Verpine (72, no setbonus) Hard Mode Operations - Underworld (72, setbonus) Nightmare Mode TfB - Kell Dragon I personally often skip the Basic Commendation part (except for the relic) but compensate with fully augmenting my gear and getting some Implants/Earpieces crafted. Any help will be much appreciated thanks. I agree with gloomycakes, planetary coms can buy rakata grade armoring/mods/enhancements. buy some of those first then go onto the classic coms. Easiest Daily areas to solo for credits/Basic coms are Black Hole on corellia and Ilum. You can zone straight to them from fleet by going outside your hanger and clickin on the terminal(This can also be done from one daily area to the next). Also if you are a tank, group for flashpoints as often as you can. Often the group will insta pop. Pick up the daily on the fleet for flashpoints and you will have some decent gear in no time. I have equip myself with all the 58 mods, should I be able to queue for HMFP? Or should I equip myself with the 61 mods first? For basic comms, you recommend getting the relics first? SpoeMeister Posted July 3, 2013 Share Posted July 3, 2013 If you have planetary commendations, go to the Makeb Modifications Commendations Vendor on the fleet. You can find him in the supply area.
