jasonthelamb
I was thinking about this - why is it that the highest current DPS (Sniper) gets 9% cunning, whereas Juggernauts get a 6% boost to strength... I was just thinking about it, while it doesn't seem like a lot - 3% can add up.
AGSThomas
Snipers desperately need a nerf. I do a lot of PvP on different classes and I still haven't found one they are weak against. Operatives? Assassins? Back when the game started Snipers were lolstomped by everyone. Post 2.0 they are absolutely OP.

AGSThomas
Every class has their day. Juggs have been lucky enough to be pretty stable. We had our weak points in the beginning. We were the worst tank for a while. Veng was quite far behind marauders. Were in a good place now I think. We can still be kited a bit but we do enough damage now to make it skill vs. skill. Except F'in snipers! a 3 second cast that cant be interrupted for 10k - 12k damage is just stupid.

Helig
oh. I was talking about saber deflect lol. If the Sniper is worth his salt, it's usually just delaying the inevitable. I often manage to beat mediocre Warriors on my Sniper without them touching me *once*. Literally. I generally am beaten only if I screw up myself - which I do more often than I'd like, because the Sniper is my alt, and I'm a bit out of practice. Marqhill
I've been playing a Guard/Jug since launch and I have few issues with snipers/gunslingers. If you're going to approach one just make sure that you're using intervening cover to your advantage as you approach. If there is no way for you to engage them without them laying into you while you close 30 meters without a leap then don't be stupid. Just don't engage them. Also, you have to learn what their defensive cool downs are. If they're hunkered down then don't use any stuns or knock backs. If they use their Dodge defensive cool down then only use Force Attacks and don't use Melee because they can't dodge force attacks. If they start laying into you with their finisher then pop saber reflect. If they keep doing it then they'll kill themselves and if they stop doing it then they're doing no damage to you whatsover. Also, when they're hunkered down they take something like 60% less AoE damage. At which point you just hit them with single target damage. Ravage, Force Scream, Vicious Throw and attacks of that nature do a number on them. As it concerns the 6% strength buff I don't think that's necessary. We have a lot of ways to counter and negate snipers/gunslingers. You just have to be smart about it and learn to recognize the abilities of the class that you're attacking.
