funkiestj
A while back I suggested that BW could get creative in making regular WZs more balanced by intentionally creating XvY matches where X != Y. I just finished a 6v8 huttball (we were 6 and we won 6-1 so it was more than fair) and we never got a 7th to backfill. I wonder if BW has implemented my idea without telling anyone... funkiestj
After a few more WZs I'm thinking a variation on my original post: BW is doing a Tuskegee Experiment on us. I.e. experimenting with 7v8, 6v8 and other things without telling us about it. Obviously I don't expect them to admit this.
DerTaran
I would say, the new backfill algorithm isn't working as expected.
Isaantia
This has been happening a lot since the last patch. And it seems to happen every time I queue in a group of 2-3 and one of the group members doesn't take the pop. Interestingly, once we're out, when we go to queue as a group again, the person who missed the queue can not be queued and the error is that they are in a warzone. Yet, they are not in a warzone. They have to "leave warzone" to clear it before we can group queue again.

Technohic
I would say, the new backfill algorithm isn't working as expected. I was going to post that I seem to backfill matches that are under a couple minutes to hear people saying "Hey, it finally backfilled." So I think something gets flipped around to where in stead of NOT backfilling when the game is pretty much decided, it is not backfilling until then? Pretty small sample size though of a couple times where I heard my team mention it when I popped in.

Pretty small sample size though of a couple times where I heard my team mention it when I popped in. I saw this in a voidstar. We were 7v8 for three quarters of the match and in the last quarter (or so) it finally back filled. The Tuskegee Experiment theory is obviously too generous. Never attribute to conspiracy that which can be explained by incompetence.
Master-Nala
I had this this morning. We were 5 v 8 on Huttball until 3 minutes into the match. When we were down by 4....
mydogclimbstree
I was also going to post along these lines. We had several matches yesterday where we had 5-6 people for several minutes, then all the spots filled up suddenly.
